I’m obviously disappointed not to have received the call up to the England squad for the World Cup. I thought my form this season had been good enough, but the manager clearly feels the team is better off without a fish frier leading the line! ⚽🍟

Don’t worry though, while the lads are out in Dallas, I’ll still be doing what I do best serving up fish and chips in Botley.

With that in mind, please note that on Wednesday 17th June we will be closing 30 minutes earlier at 8:30pm so the team can get home in time to watch England take on Croatia in their World Cup opener.

National Fish & Chip Day is nearly here, and we have an amazing offer to share with you!

To celebrate National Fish & Chip Day, we’re offering £1 Fish Goujon Meals for all primary school-aged children and under.

Fish is a fantastic source of protein and can play an important part in a healthy, balanced diet. We hope this offer helps inspire a new generation of fish and chip lovers while celebrating one of the nation’s favourite dishes.

A huge thank you to Smales for generously supplying the fish to make this possible, and to Edima Potatoes for providing the spuds.

We’re also incredibly grateful to for supplying some of the best dunkable sauces around!
