Thank you to everyone who has sent us questions for "Ask Ian".

We posted our first video yesterday that answered some of the most popular questions, and we have more to cover in our next video.

As it's a very hot day for most of the country and concentration levels will be at an all time low, we thought we'd do a bit of a Throwback Thursday.

Ian's love of bikes started when he was a youngster on his family farm, and through that growing passion and his solid background in engineering, it has led him to launching Mac Motorcycles.

We have tasked Ian with producing a series of short videos to take you on a journey, from introducing Ian, all the way through to where we are today as a business.

Stay tuned, stay cool in this heat and stay safe if you are venturing out on your bikes.

Welcome to Wednesday and the first of our 'Ask Ian' videos.

Mac HQ is renowned for being a lovely cool environment to work in, so was the perfect place to record the first of our videos.

This week we will be covering exporting bikes to the US, EU, New Zealand and Australia, plus purchasing options for self-build.

Thanks for submitting your questions, and keep them coming in........

It's Tea Break Tuesday Time, and you will see from the attached images which bike Ian chose for his travels.

Ian had a fabulous ride out to The Nook Farm Shop & Cafe near Alston over the weekend.

If you're having a run over Hartside Pass it's only a couple of minutes off the main route.

Ian said it was great to give Rex a run out on local roads from his childhood and big thanks go to brother in law Pete for being the camera man on his GS.

It was a genuine pleasure to be invited to show off one of our bikes at the annual Triumph owners (Yorkshire Rose branch) concours event on Wednesday night.

Amazing variety of bikes and of course a huge range of concours plus well used and well loved Triumphs.

As you can imagine, there were lots of great conversations and biking stories.

Thanks again to The Yorkshire Rose branch (especially Geoff Walton) for inviting us.

It's Tea Break Tuesday Time.......

Last week we invited you to "Ask Ian", any burning questions about the bikes.

We have connections based all over the world and some of the most common questions we get are whether we sell overseas.

Ian is in the process of filming a few short videos to cover this question and we will publish them later in the week.

In the meantime, Ian has been invited as a guest to The Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club event this evening in Rotherham, which he is really looking forward to.

We'll have some images to share with you tomorrow.

It's a bit chilly this week, after the tropical temperatures we had a short while ago in the UK.

So we thought we'd do a bit of a to when Ian was doing cold starts as part of the pre production process over the winter months.

It's Tea Break Tuesday time.....

We get a fair few messages about our bikes on social media and via email.

Everything from "Why a single-cylinder?" to "Where do you source your parts from?" and everything in-between!

Instead of typing out short replies in the DMs, we figured we’d open the floor properly.

So.... we are starting a regular slot called 'Ask Ian.'

If you’ve got a burning question about the engineering, the build process, the new HQ, or why we do things the hard way instead of the cheap way, you can ask the person who actually builds them.

There will be no corporate spin, just Ian giving it to you straight from HQ in sunny South Yorkshire.

How it works: Drop your questions in the comments below, or send us a private message if you prefer. Ian will be sitting down with a brew over the weekend to read through the first batch and we will see you here next Tuesday with the answers.
