Thank you to Wolverhampton and their Community Champion Barnes for allowing us to ask their customers for food donations this morning. Two hours of our time yielded 6 trays of food for our guests. Wonderful and very much appreciated!

Wow! What a day! Preparing and delivering food for 941 guests in 35 degree heat was a challenge - but we did it! THANK YOU everyone for your amazing efforts!

Only 893 guests received food today as we had to cancel a route at 12:15 pm . A Volunteer’s car refused to start!! We tried to let our guests know but not all the phone numbers we have are current! Please, if you are a guest, let us know if you change your number …. and if you are someone reading this and would like to volunteer to drive for us please get in touch on 07309744674! Many thanks!

Lots of people to say thank you to today and lots of photos, including some of today’s deliveries ready to leave HQ! ……
To the volunteers who made today another outstanding success, 925 guests received food.
To NDS Community Services for their weekly bread donation and extra vegetables
To all the stores that donate surplus food every week
To Asda, Angie the Community Champion and Kit for the donations this week!

Without all of you there wouldn’t be a Friends of Di’s Kitchen!
