Book Club

Yesterday we had another fantastic book club evening discussing Theo of Golden.

If you like books this is a great way to meet like minded people in the village, make new friends and enjoy delicious nibbles whilst talking all things books.

We are hiring!

After an amazing first three months since we opened we are looking for hard working, friendly cafe staff as we look to expand our business.

Would you like to join our small, passionate team and be part of an ever growing community?
Responsibilities include serving customers, making great coffee, basic food preparation and ensuring a tidy, welcoming and clean space.

Hospitality can be challenging but the days fly by, you get to drink amazing coffee and build friendships with colleagues and customers alike.

Must have previous barista / hospitality experience, non smokers only, over 18, a passion for food (and cake!) is essential. Flexible hours over weekdays and weekends, and you’ll get to enjoy our incredible toasties & cakes on shift.

New Menu!

We’ve launched our new lunch menu this week. Available daily between 1100h and 1500h.

- The OG ham and cheese melt hasn’t gone anywhere - is there a better toastie?

- Tomato & Mozzarella - triple tomato, oozy mozzarella, basil and balsamic glaze.

- New Yorker - pastrami, Swiss cheese, gherkins & sauerkraut make for an amazing combination.

- Homemade hot sausage rolls are now available everyday (while stocks last) ask for the daily flavour. They are perfect paired with one of our fresh salads.

We look forward to seeing you for lunch soon, make sure you have room for cake after!

Starting Wednesday 12th August we are offering soft serve ice cream - a perfect treat for this hot summer weather! Available in four options - chocolate Oreo, Biscoff, caramel fudge or triple chocolate brownie.
Bring your friends and family to the cafe for a cup of deliciousness - available between 2 and 4 whilst stocks last.
