We are open! And WHAT. A. START!
I am honestly blown away and overwhelmed by the response from the first two days, it was more than I ever imagined.
Thursday morning I couldn’t get out of bed, I was so paralysed with fear about the opening. But I shouldn’t have been so anxious. The cafe was full from opening until closing!
I am honestly astounded and touched by all the comments - on the food, decor, coffee and atmosphere. THANK YOU to everyone who came.
I scaled down the toastie menu to make things more manageable and I’m still working out how much to bake each day. But I’ll find my feet with time and new items will come to the menu, especially for lunch.
For now we have incredible sourdough toasties, a cake counter full of your favourite treats and the most delicious Colombian coffee.
I can’t believe what happened last week, it’s beyond my wildest dreams, but let’s do it all again from tomorrow.
