Truck drivers spend their working lives travelling up and down the country. stopping at cafés, truck stops and roadside kitchens along the way. They’ve probably eaten more Full English breakfasts than most people could count! so they definitely know a proper one when it lands in front of them!
That’s why, when one driver told us

He told us he stops at loads of places through his work and has tried breakfasts all over the country. Then to top it off, he came back first thing the following morning and ordered the exact same again! That return visit said just as much as the compliment itself.🔥
Our truck drivers have become some of Kirsty’s Kitchen’s biggest, most loyal and most valued customers. They’re also some of our greatest word spreaders.
One driver enjoys a breakfast, tells another driver over the radio, at a delivery point or back at the yard and before we know it, another new face is walking through our door saying
“One of the lads told me I had to try this place!”
That kind of recommendation is priceless to a small, independent business like ours. Every driver who stops, returns, leaves us a kind review or recommends us to someone else helps our name travel far beyond Widnes.
We love seeing familiar lorries pulling up outside and welcoming drivers back by name. Whether you’re stopping for a Full English before your first drop, grabbing a breakfast butty between deliveries or finally sitting down after being on the road since the early hours, we’ll always make sure there’s a warm welcome and a proper feed waiting for you.
Truck drivers work long and unsociable hours, spend time away from their families and deal with traffic, deadlines and long days to make sure shops, cafés, businesses and families receive everything they need.
Without farmers, there would be no food to produce.
Without truck drivers, that food wouldn’t reach our kitchens, shops or tables.
