It is with much sadness and a lot of excitement that we have closed our doors for the last time after 11 years of running the Monkton Inn. We would like to thank everyone who has walked through our door, friendships we have made and staff who helped us along the way. We are looking forward to our retirement in Scotland and if any of you are ever up there we would love to see you. We will miss so many of you. Peter and Val xx

Hi All, unfortunately we will not be having our farewell party as planned on 29 August as the buyers have pulled out of the sale, naturally we are very upset as we had made so many plans, so it seems you are stuck with us for a bit longer. Peter and Val x

If anyone has anything that they can donate to st giles for there tombola's over the summer please do 🙂 you can even drop stuff of to the monkton Inn if its easier and we will take them up for you ♥️🐶 xx

WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP! 🥰
We have a number of events coming up over the summer and our tombola consistently brings in much needed funding. Our stock of suitable items is really really low and we are hoping that our wonderful supporters might have items that they can donate 🙂 Anything we can stick a ticket on that is NEW or AS NEW would be very greatly appreciated. Below are just some ideas:

You can drop them off at the Rescue Centre in Wrantage, we also have collection cages in the Taunton Sainsburys on Hankridge Farm and the town centre, alternatively we also have a volunteer in 31 Russett Road, Taunton where items can be dropped off at any time into the porch 😃 THANK YOU SO MUCH 🐾

JUBILEE DOG DAY

What a fantastic day, could not believe how many people turned up to support this amazing charity. We would like to thank everyone who helped us raise £500 for St Giles Animal Sanctuary. A special thank you to Laura who organised most of this event 🐶❤️🐾🐾
