We’re back TOMORROW! 🤍☕

We’ve missed you -and there are a few exciting changes waiting for you at the Milk Churn!

We reopen Friday 2nd October with our new winter hours and an updated menu, including a vegetarian breakfast option, more tasty meals and plenty of winter warmers. All at the same great prices! Don’t forget those gorgeous Lumsdale Cheesecake bakes on the counter and proper coffee made with Clumsy Goat Coffee too!☕🍰

There are our new winter opening hours:

Wednesday: 11am–3pm
Friday: 9.30am–12 noon

Don’t forget Toddler Group 🧸
Every Friday from 9.30–10.45am (first session starting on 9th of October)

A little autumn break for the Milk Churn 🤍☕

Just a little heads-up that this Wednesday 16th September will be our last day open before the Milk Churn team takes a well-earned annual break.

We’ll be back, refreshed and ready to welcome you again on Friday 2nd October - with our new winter opening hours AND a new menu to share with you. 🍳🍰

Our Burger Nights will continue as usual alongside Quiz Night while the café is closed, so you can still get your Milk Churn fix!

Make a pit stop at the Milk Churn, grab your breakfast cob, starting from just £3.50, add a freshly made coffee - then you're ready to go!

We're right next to the Hurst Farm Heritage Trail, putting you right on the cusp of some of the loveliest walking around Matlock. You can park for free, fuel up - then head out towards the woodlands and Lumsdale Waterfalls.

For an easier stroll, a newly resurfaced path to the historic Wishing Stone features information boards and a GPS-triggered app, which brings the local history and stories to life along the way!
