What a weekend! An epic 80 person Ploughman's grazing board buffet with:

* Homemade chorizo sausage rolls
* Home roasted gammon ham
* Homemade scotch eggs
* Pork Pies from AB's finest The Pie Shak
* Homemade Coronation Chicken rolls
* Homemade Coleslaw, Whipped Feta and Humous
* Homemade Creme Fraiche, Chive and Smoked Salmon blinis
* An epic cheeseboard from The Cheese Locker (also AB based)

And lots of other deliciousness including fresh crusty breads, crackers, olives and other antipasti bits.

Raced back from a lovely evening walk at Jackson’s Bank for our tea - the salmon pesto feast from this weeks menu - baby potatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, tenderstem brocolli, salmon loaded with homemade basil pesto - this is cooked under tin foil allowing the oil from the tomatoes and pesto to coat the potatoes and brocolli to make the most scrumptious dinner!

See previous post for next weeks menu - orders to be in by 7pm tomorrow pls - remember to stock up as there will be no food the week after! (I will still do the salad bowls for regular customers and shop!!)

This mailer made me laugh! I’ve tried Hello Fresh and Gousto but never felt excited to rush home and cook it - the recipes were too complicated, having to re-read them multiple times and we were often left feeling hungry due to minimal protein.

The mailer offers a 50% off voucher, great initially, but afterward it's £32.99 for 3 meals for 2 people. In comparison, Grub Kitchen provides 3 meals for £42- just an extra £9 - but they’re full prepared and ready for you to simply cook through in the oven/air-fryer. All homemade with no UPFs or additives; I aim for at least 180-200g of protein per dish. Plus, my menus change weekly!

Pic 2 is the meal we've eaten tonight (despite the heat) this was ready in 30mins from start to finish - hot honey halloumi stuffed chicken breast, wrapped in bacon (from this weeks menu) I served it alongside some potatoes I had stashed in the freezer and some tenderstem broccoli - all prepared food that I simply had to cook through! Winner Winner! This could be you next week - 30mins from getting in to having a homecooked meal on your plate without any cooking & I forgot to say minimal washing up!!
