Fancy winning a place at our Oktoberfest afternoon on Saturday, September 26th at 3pm? 🍻

We're giving away one spot to whoever has the best stein. Dig yours out from the back of the cupboard, or dust off the old one you bought in Germany on that trip years ago.

Post a picture of yours in the comments and tag your friends so we can see what crazy steins are out there. We'll pick our favourite in the run-up to the event, and the winner can bring their stein along on the day to be filled with beer.

Did you know our Candice didn't set out to open a deli?

Before Delifonseca, she worked in TV and film, travelling around the UK and discovering brilliant independent food shops along the way.

When she moved to Liverpool, she realised there wasn't quite the sort of place she wanted to shop herself.

So she built it. And we’ve been grateful ever since 💜

A little heads up if Delifonseca was part of your weekend plans 💜

We’ll be open as usual for breakfast this Saturday morning, so there’s still time to get your weekend off to a very Delifonseca start.

From lunchtime, Dockside will be closed while we host a private event, with no tables available from 12pm.

But if only a Delifonseca sandwich will do, you’re still in luck - takeaway sandwiches will be available throughout the afternoon.

Then on Sunday, we’ll be back to normal and ready to do it all over again.

And if you’ve ever fancied having Delifonseca all to yourself (well, you and your favourite people), we host private events too. Get in touch with the team to find out more.

Tinned fish is having a serious moment in the spotlight, and we are absolutely here for it 🐟

We’ve been big fans for years, and our extensive range includes the best of the best (because that’s always how we roll), caught in places like Portugal, Spain and even Cornwall.

We have some smoked, some in spicy sauce, some pickled, some with herbs, and some just in olive oil, so you can really enjoy the simple flavour without any fuss.

As well as being utterly delicious, it’s also high in protein, and very good for your brain, so grab a tin, some crusty bread and call it a meal 😋

We had the pleasure of creating a delicious Greek spread for Falconer Chester Hall’s Staff Appreciation Lunch in Liverpool 🇬🇷

There was everything from Greek Salad to Pork Souvlaki and chicken skewers, plus a selection of fresh dips, crudites and much more for the team to enjoy.

Because it means somebody's curious. Curious about a cheese they've never tasted, a wine they've never heard of or an ingredient they didn't know they needed until five minutes ago. 🛒

Otterspool is going to be busy this Saturday as the brilliant No Art Open Air Festival rolls in.

If you’re heading down for it, start with a hearty breakfast from us first or grab some lunch if you’re not going until later. We’ll sort you out with food that’ll keep you going until the last set.

Roads are open as normal until 9pm, when Jericho Lane closes to let everyone clear out.
