Buying meat is better when you can ask the person who cut it, and who knows exactly where it came from.

Edge & Son are our in-house butchers at Delifonseca, and they bring know-how that comes from years of experience. The business has been trading since 1844, and that knowledge has been passed down through generations of butchers.

They know the farms, because they work with over 30 of them within 25 miles. They know the animal from nose to tail, so when you want to know about a cut, a breed or where the meat you’re buying for your dinner came from, just ask.

Fancy an afternoon of German b**r education? 🍻

Join Sam, our Restaurant Manager and certified Cicerone, for an Oktoberfest Afternoon B**r Exploration on Saturday, September 26th at 3pm.

Five German b**rs, a look at how they're brewed, the ingredients that go into them, and a run-through of Oktoberfest history and German b**r culture.

While you’re sampling the delightful Bavarian brews, you can tuck into a special German-style feasting platter, featuring schupfknudel pan-fried in butter with bacon and onions, a selection of German sausages, the best meats and cheese from the Deli, pretzels, sauerkraut and mustard.

Now that’s the kind of afternoon we’re into 🤩

The event is £45 per person, and you can come on your own or bring the whole group along. Booking is essential - just visit our website to secure your spot.

Last chance to guess our mystery Oktoberfest keg and win an Oktoberfest Sharing Platter and two pints of our mystery b**r 🍺

The Sharing Platter includes Schupfnudeln, pan-fried with bacon and onions, Bratwurst and Bockwurst sausages, Alp Blossom cheese, flowers and herbs, classic pepper salami, pretzel, bread, sauerkraut, mustard and curry ketchup. A
brilliant lineup if we do say so ourselves 😉
