DOG SOCIAL DATES FOR 2027! 📣

You’ve been asking us for more Dog Social dates and we are, of course, more than happy to oblige! 🐾

Here are some of our dates for January and February 2027, so you’ve got plenty of time to pencil your favourites into the diary.

💰 £5 per dog including a pup cup and a donation to The Mayflower Animal Sanctuary
🕰️ 10:00am - 11:30am
🥪 Breakfast sandwiches available
☕️ Plus tea and coffee

We’ve introduced some brand-new breeds and groups, alongside return visits from the socials that have gone spectacularly well so far. Yes, Goldens, Labradors, Dachshunds and Spaniels... we’re looking at you! 🥹

We’re also hosting an all-breeds Puppy Love Valentine’s Special! 💕 Will your pup be under one year old? Bring them along for what we promise will be the cutest Dog Social yet.

No dog? No problem! You’re always more than welcome to pop down, enjoy a breakfast sandwich and spend your morning surrounded by four-legged friends.

That’s not all…

From now on, everyone attending a Dog Social with their pooch will receive a 10% paw-cent-off voucher to use at The King William on a future visit! 🐾

We’ve met so many lovely new people through these events, including some who had never even heard of the King Billy before, and we’d love the opportunity to show you what we’re all about. Use your voucher for a future date night, a catch-up with friends or a family meal. And, of course, your pooch is welcome inside too!

PLUS! Because these events have gone so well, we’re introducing even more Dog Socials at our sister pub, The Pilgrim Fathers at Scrooby, just a few minutes away.

Their socials will take place every Saturday, beginning on Saturday 24th October with Golden Retrievers and Labradors. They’ll also be hosting an all-breeds Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday 31st October! 🎃 It’s time to dig your dog’s best pumpkin, witch or vampire outfit out of the wardrobe as there’ll be prizes to be won! Head over to The Pilgrim Fathers’ page to find out more 👻

Double the Dog Socials, double the dogs and definitely double the chaos! 🐶

Prawns, mussels, garlic and tomato all tangled up in our seafood linguine 🍤🍝

The sort of dish that calls for a long lunch, a glass of something lovely and some garlic ciabatta to mop up the sauce. You’ll find it on the menu at the King William.

Over 50% of our Firework Extravaganza tickets have already sold! 🤯

Here are all the reasons to get yours before it’s too late 👇

🎟️ We sell out every year. Know you want to come? Get yours before you can’t!

🎆 An absolute belter of a firework display, guaranteed! Here’s Nigel from Galactic Fireworks (aka Super Car Nigel, aka Mr 5th November) and Joe looking like two Cheshire cats last year. It’s a display that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

🎵 Live music from Roger and The No Ones all evening, plus a corker of a soundtrack to the display that’ll have you tapping your feet.

🍺 Your ticket includes a drink! Adults can choose from any pint, a house w**e, a house spirit and mixer, or a pint of draught soft drink.

🥪 It also includes a hot pork sandwich, or a hot dog for the kids. Once you’ve bought your tickets, the evening is basically free by the time November comes around.

🥞 The legendary Madame Crêpe will be here again this year. Who can say no to a gooey, Nutella-loaded crêpe?

☕️ And if that’s not enough, we’ve got Martin from Nomad Coffee joining us too! Speciality coffee served from a Defender 110? Sorry, but that’s cool 😮‍💨

Tickets are going fast, so round up your favourite people and get yours booked while you still can! 🎟️
