2023 what a year...

From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you! To all those following the journey through social media, online customers, trailer customers, the Blackbeard baristas and family and friends!

From record months at the trailer, to record sales online and then the purchase of our second trailer...it has been a fantastic year and one we are so grateful for!

We can't wait to see what the new year brings with lots of exciting stuff to come in 2024...so watch this space 😉😜

The busy month that is December...

Sorry I have been so quiet on our social platforms the past few weeks - to say we’ve been busy would be an understatement!

As many will know we now have a second trailer at a new Richmond pitch every Monday - Thursday morning which has been an incredible journey so far. The 5am alarms weren’t as hard as I’d envisaged & I’m now in the swing of them (unless I’ve consumed a few beers the night before and then I can only blame myself!)

I’ve met some amazing people who have really made the cold mornings worth while! I can't thank you enough for the support, the kind feedback and the help spreading the word amongst friends, work colleagues and fellow dog walkers who pass us on their Richmond commutes ❤️

I still pinch myself that this is all now a reality and that’s thanks to you all for buying our coffee: whether it be in cups, in bags of ground or beans or signing up to our subscriptions - you’re the best & thank you!

With just one more week till Christmas, I'm looking forward to taking some time out from everything until the new year...can't bloody wait💪

Again, thank you for making this year so special & to each and every one of you, have yourselves a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy caffeine consumed new year 🖤☕️

Remembrance Sunday 🚨
A Remembrance Sunday to remember in more ways then one!
As we remember those before, this Sunday will also go down as a recording breaking day for BlackBeard as our busiest Sunday yet! Thanks to the little sister for stepping in and smashing through hundreds of coffees...while I was in the second trailer stressing over the fact I couldn't get the coffee machine working, note to self, check the batteries are charged before you try and fire up a battery run coffee machine 🙃 We live and we learn!
Hope everyone keeps grinding through their days fuelled by caffeine and more ☕️💪

We love getting sent in and seeing photos of how people enjoy there BlackBeard Brew's, ether that be from their home barista machines, cafes supply people with their fix or even from our very own trailer...all in all the satisfaction of getting that perfect artwork really can't be beaten ☕️ tag us in your best attempted latte art if you dare 😉

World Mental Health Day 🌎

Being a professional rugby can take a toll on your mental health. Over the years I’ve suffered with anxiety, irritability and had my down days. Long physical training days, competing with your team mates and fearing team selection week in week out takes its toll. Sacrificing family & friends for long weekends playing up & down the country is hard too.

Coffee played a huge role in helping me with these situations. Unbeknown to many, caffeine actually helps to relieve depressive symptoms and has a proactive effect on your wellbeing in addition to boosting a clear headed mentality. Coffee truly made a difference to me.

Don’t be afraid to talk about how you feel and it’s always good to do this over a good cup of coffee with those closest to you ☕️🖤

What an amazing start to October in the Blackbeard Trailer...
First two festivals of the year and over 400 coffees made over two Sundays! Absolutely love seeing everyone's faces and thank you to all that came and enjoyed a cup of our liquid gold ☕️ Big shout out to the Blackbeard Team that helped out over both those weekends 💪 Enjoy the rest of your Sunday 🏴‍☠️

It's Friday, after another busy week beginning last weekend with the first Mini Festival at we move into another busy weekend at the Blackbeard Trailer. First up is a Friday night lights game featuring former employees followed by a big weekend of rugby on Saturday featuring all Richmond teams and finishing off with another Rugby filled Festival on Sunday 💪☕️
