Following an overnight inspection by the AA, The Olde Malthouse Inn has officially been awarded a 4-Star Inn rating, alongside a 2026 AA Dinner Award! ⭐⭐⭐⭐🍽️
To receive this level of recognition from such a prestigious body is a massive milestone for us. The inspector’s feedback highlighted our team’s warmth, genuine hospitality, and relaxed professionalism, alongside our diligent housekeeping and an honest, flavour-first approach in the kitchen celebrating brilliant local produce.
A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible team. Their dedication, pride, and graft every single day made this happen.
And of course, thank you to all of you—our wonderful locals, regulars, and visitors—who make the inn such a vibrant place to be.
