Bake off week one (it’s back!)

Salted caramel chocolate stout cake. I think I may have overbaked the cake slightly. Overall I’d say 6/10

Syrup sponge pudding. A new recipe ticked off, as requested by Alfie. It took a bit longer to bake than expected but was tasty once it was ready

01-01-2026 Megan & Scott got married. I’ve made many biscuits for Megan over the years and it was an honour to be a small part of her wedding.
She provided the stamp which was from and was brilliant. The lines were clean and even the small date came out well.

Alfie turned 8 and requested a Pikachu cake. The ears wouldn’t stay up, hence the Gu pots but he was happy with it.
