POSITIVITY BEGINS.
FIRST OF ALL.
The phones haven’t stopped ringing. Opportunities, collaborations and support. Weve spent some of this time checking in on old staff (👀 we may have a collab with a few of the very talented artists we used to work with) old staff checking in on us ( we see you) , customer excitement, love, supplier offers of help and lot of help from a big hearted Birmingham Brother (more on that another day)

What comes next?

This is a teaser. We are still in the process of signing and unlocking funding (as we are literally broke 👌🙏) but that shouldn’t be too far out. We have big dreams for this place. We want it to be serviceable for around 10 tables and have a focus on everything weve been passionate about but having been able to show. We are creating those incredible NY style cookies you all adored, curating european coffee from some great names but also….

We want it to be luxurious, we want to provide people with access to luxury that doesnt break the bank, in a space that doesnt just feel like another indie cafe. We want to bring people a feel of modern euro hangout spot but against a very cool backdrop (we cant release what that is yet) - our drinks list will go above and beyond the drinks we all colloquially know as standard and we will build and lean in to what you enjoy mixed with a very alternative take on ‘seasonality’.

SECONDLY

We are in line to be making a TV appearance with our cookies between April and July 👀👀👀 crazy af we know. .nian95 hasn’t stopped throwing up.

Its Christmas Eve and we would like to do the right thing and shout out to everyone who helped us these last few weeks.
First of all and the team at - taking a chance on an unknown brand and blending a concept to serve customers you already have js a risk - Freya, Lucy, Claire, Dani and Vicky have been nothing short of miraculous. Thankyou.

from running over when we ran out of chocolate, to moral support when facing challenges - this man is a symbol of his business - serving the community and has nothing more than integrity. Thankyou!

Sutton branch - from being super supportive on our first empty few days and sending customers in - these guys have been truly wonderful and helpful in building connections and repeat custom.

what can we say? Except what a gem Sutton has on its hands, a vision of not only great speciality coffee but people being nice to people. Alex and Zac + friends have been nothing short of incredible, in a superficial world of surface friends (thats what the industry can be like) we feel like weve made true friends with these guys and can only say wonderful things about them all - wonderful place, wonderful people.

Neil also has been super supportive and what a wonderful place this is to drop in and get a knowledgable drink - even the wine is top tier here and the knowledge on display is something sutton should be proud of.

Michelle from the Bid has been a wonderful supporter - giving us a space for our A board at the market and keeping us informed of how the local area runs. Your support has been invaluable.
