A month ago, we were so excited to share the news that Mini Me would be moving to a bigger home. The move wasn’t our choice, but we chose to embrace it with excitement and saw it as an opportunity to create something even more special for our families.
After a lot of thought, sleepless nights and many conversations, we have made the incredibly difficult decision not to go ahead with the move.
Right now, the opportunity in front of us simply isn’t the right one for Mini Me or for our family. Therefore, when we close the doors to our current home, Mini Me will be closing for the foreseeable future, with no new premises currently planned.
When I first opened Mini Me, it wasn’t just about building a business. It was about creating a place where children could learn through play, families could make memories and, most importantly for me, having more time with my own children.
As I’m sure so many of my fellow mamas will understand, family time is the most important thing. We work hard, chase our dreams and make sacrifices, but at the end of the day, we do it all for our babies.
Although opening a bigger Mini Me was something I was incredibly excited about, I realised it would take me further away from the very reason I started this journey. It would require sacrifices that no longer felt right for me or my family.
This hasn’t been an easy decision, and I know many of you were as excited as we were. Thank you for all your encouragement, kindness and support. It has meant more than you know 💜
For now, we are taking a step back and focusing on our family. However, should the right opportunity come along in the future, one that feels right for Mini Me and allows me to remain true to why I started—we would never say never.
So, as we prepare to close our current Mini Me, I don’t want to say goodbye.
It’s not goodbye… it’s see you later. 💜
