It’s that time again. Our 3rd Birthday Party!

This year we’re delighted to have of coming down to showcase his beautiful creative cooking, outstanding selection of wine curated by and our favourite birthday cake from + in-house cocktail menu, selection of local beers & our tiramisu

April is here which means we relaunch our Iced Menu as we do every year. 🌞
Perfectly timed with the suns return, we look forward to serving our usual trilogy of iced coffees; 8oz (Espresso Based) Iced White & Black, Weekly Revolving 24hr Cold-Brew and debuting this year, Iced Matcha.

April also marks our annual coffee price-increase, which to be transparent this year will be 10% instead of then usual 5% after the unprecedented increases of the global coffee market. It’s so important to us to continue to support and showcase the outstanding single varietal coffee from a single farm and single producer as we have done since 2018, not blend or pivot our coffee offerings for our economic benefit.

Lastly, we’re midway through our Spring coffee releases; continuing over the next 3 months we’ll be showcasing a range of Rare Varietals & Processing Methods from some Colombia and Peru’s most exciting farms roasted for Filter & Espresso use. The first of these releases are available online & in-store now.

As the seasons change, this week we introduce our new Spring House Espresso as we do every quarter

This year we’ll be showcasing a 72hr Washed Caturra & Castillo from Linarco Rodriguez, notes of Dark Chocolate & Dried Summer Berries, our personal favourite in a while

This isn’t the only lot from Linarco, this month we will also be releasing his delightful 48hr Aerobic Washed Pink Bourbon roasted for filter brewing

Later in the month we’re excited for some very special lots from Jhoan Vergara & Nestor Lasso via the famous farm & an intriguing flower petal processed coffee from Oscar Hernandez

Happy New Year 🎉

As the year comes to end we'd like to reflect and celebrate on what an amaizng past 12 months its been.

Particular highlights of 2024 have been;

Firstly and foremost, the introduction of our brand new Giesen W6a into the shop. Compounded with the acquisition of our Joper DM-25 destoner and improved roast control with the new Cropster IR5, this rounds out our improvements to roast quality from the ground up.

A continued highlight and pleasure is our collaboration and showcase of Manchester's best award winning bakeries that we revolve on our counter on a daily basis.

Last and not least is the special opportunity we had to showcase our first ever UK exclusive lot from Paola Trujillo.

This is an example that recognises and highlights the high scoring micro-lots we source, roast and brew, with 20 - 50% more being spent on raw product than other outlets.

100% of profits from 2024 have been reinvested to improve key areas.

None of this would be possible without the support of each and evey interaction in-store, online and through our wonderful wholesale partnerships.

This year as ever year has been all about giving - to our network of coffee producers & importers who we are working closer than ever with, our expanding wholesale partnerships, which have tripled our roasting output since January, and of course providing a quality focused, reliable, honest and representative experience in-store of all the product we stock.

Thank you so much to everyone who came down last week to celebrate with us, the turnout was overwhelming!

Special thanks to for our beautiful macaron selection, to & for the supply of the fantastic meat and fish, for our Basque Birthday Cakes and of course to those special people who support us week after week.

This project has become so much more important than we preconceived, for us, our friends who supply us with some of Manchester's best baked goods, the network of green coffee suppliers and producers we work with year after year - this makes our work, through representation and support of these people, imperative.
