Shoestring Cafe We are a well loved cafe in Holbeach, was The Tea Room but we have moved to Boston Road South. We are open Tues-Fri 8.30am til 3pm and Saturday 8.30am til 2pm.

Its a bit warm and humid out there today.

Plenty of cars about but no pedestrians! So far, we have had ONE customer. After my last heavy hitting status, we had two/three really good weeks. Really good. But now…….

Anyhoo, we still have the same lovely food and drinks with the same mad people. Come give us a look.

Would any businesses be interested in advertising in a Holbech Parish Magazine if I could get one up and running? I will be getting quotes from Holbeach printers (of course!).

I did contact the parish council 12 months ago but never got a reply!

Are there any local groups that would be interested in writing an article?

Holbeach is……. Quiet again. No one walking about and, most strangely, no children! Wheres the laughter of children?

How are we all? Considering the children are on school holiday now, Holbeach is very quiet!

We start the green token scheme next week, so if you have been given some come in. I WILL (Yes Sally, you will!) sit down and create a menu. If you don’t fancy whats on the menu, your children can order anything from the main menu , just pay the differnce!

Plenty of traffic about today, bet they all hve the air con on!
