🎸 THIS SATURDAY @ TRIMMERS THE TROUBLESHOOTERS!

Really looking forward to having these lads back! Troubleshooters A brilliant three piece rock ’n’ roll and rockabilly band, and easily some of the hardest working lads on the circuit.

They’ll have your feet tapping with classics from Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Freddie Fingers Lee, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Chuck Berry. Proper 50s rock ’n’ roll! 🔥

Always a fantastic night with these lads, so come down and join us this is one you won’t want to miss!

And if you fancy a nice quiet drink and a catch up instead, we’ve got The Dolly Peel just across the road. 🍻

❤️ A massive thank you from me and Sam to everyone who has donated prizes for our charity raffle in aid of The Toby Henderson Trust.

The generosity from friends, customers and local businesses has been fantastic. It means a lot to us, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s helped ❤️

A special thank you for these latest donations:

⭐ Kim Marcinkiw – An hour’s general clean by Maid Sparkle.
⭐ Inz Stephenson – A three-month class pass for Jensens Gym.

There are some brilliant prizes up for grabs, including a 55-inch TV, his and hers Barbour jackets, a signed South Shields FC shirt and football, and loads more! 🎁

🎟️ Tickets are £1 each or 15 for £10.

You can buy tickets on the night at Trimmers, or pop into The Dolly Peel, which is open every day from 2pm just ask at the bar!

📅 The draw takes place at Trimmers on Saturday 24th October, during the interval with our fantastic band, Two Meters Apart 🎶

The Thursday poker nights just keep getting better and better at Trimmers! 🃏🍻

25 players across 3 packed tables last Thursday! 👏🔥

Another fantastic turnout, and what a night it was! Plenty of banter, loads of laughs and some absolutely brutal bad beats! 😂 Sometimes it doesn’t matter how well you play when the poker gods have other ideas! 🤣

Great to see Linda, Karen and Gemma joining us at the tables too! All three played some cracking poker and certainly gave the lads a run for their money! 👏♥️

🏆 THIS WEEK’S WINNER TJ! 🏆

TJ turned up fashionably late, took his seat and only went and won the whole thing! 😂

A massive congratulations to TJ on his FIRST EVER WIN at Trimmers! 👏🍻

The standard of poker has been brilliant lately, but what’s even better is the atmosphere. A great bunch of people, plenty of laughs and a bit of friendly competition. Exactly what we want at Trimmers!

What a night at Trimmers! ❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who came down last night, and to Borderland - North East Band for bringing the magic! You were absolutely fantastic and it was lovely seeing everyone enjoying themselves.

We also had Derek’s surprise party in the function room, so it really was a full house! Hope you had a brilliant night, Derek, and thanks to everyone who celebrated with him. 🥳🍻

A big thank you to our staff for all their hard work keeping everyone looked after.

Nights like these remind us why we love doing this. Seeing the pub full of people, music and laughter means so much to us both. Thanks for your continued support ❤️

♠️♥️ TRIMMERS POKER CLUB – WHAT A NIGHT! ♣️♦️

Wow… just wow! 27 players last Thursday! 🤯🃏

Our biggest turnout yet at Trimmers and we were still missing around 6 of our regular players! We knew we might need four tables… at one point it was looking like we might need FIVE! 😂 Even had to crack open another case of chips because we ran out!

Great start from Linda, who came out firing from the very first hand, putting the lads under some serious pressure! 😂 Unfortunately they eventually got her!

The night came down to Michael Ford, one of our own dealers, against Blake, who was chasing an incredible third win in a row.

But this time it was Michael’s night! 🏆

👏 Congratulations Michael Ford on your FIRST Trimmers win!
🥈 Blake takes 2nd after another brilliant run.

The Thursday poker nights have grown beyond what we expected when we started them at Trimmers. 27 players, four tables and plenty of regulars still missing — who knows where this ends!

And now we do it all again THIS THURSDAY! 🔥
