⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING SEAN ROPER NIGHT DATE CHANGE ⚠️

Unfortunately, due to a planned power cut in the area, we’ve had to move our Evening of Mediumship with Sean Roper at The Trimmers Arms.
Tuesday 11th now cancelled!!
➡️ NEW DATE: Wednesday 12th August

Everything else remains the same and all tickets already purchased will be valid for Wednesday night.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, the power cut is completely beyond our control and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the evening properly.

🎟️ If you’ve already bought a ticket but can’t make the new date, please bring your ticket back to The Trimmers Arms and we’ll be happy to give you a full refund.

We're delighted to welcome Kriss Marco for a very special live performance at The Trimmers Arms, South Shields on Friday 14th August 8pm Start.
Kriss first gained national recognition as a member of the Wolverhampton-based R&B vocal group 4Sure, finalists on The X Factor UK Series 3 (2006) under the mentorship of Louis Walsh, sharing the stage with stars including Leona Lewis during the competition.
Since then, Kriss has established himself as a fantastic solo performer, bringing powerful vocals, charisma and a catalogue of timeless classics to every show.

Canny night of poker last night with 17 players turning up! 👏

Great to see two of our old players back at Trimmers for their first game in a while and one of them only went and won the bloody thing! 😂🏆

Well played Kieran! He’s always been a good player and showed he’s still got it, eventually going heads up against Tony Mohammed to take the win. 👏

Well played Tony as well, and cheers to all 17 who came along.

The poker nights are building nicely again good crack, good bunch of lads and a decent game of cards. 🍻🃏

Poker nights every Thursday at Trimmers!!!

A big thank you to everyone who helps make our Poker Nights what they are! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

A special shout out to Ryan & Vane for the fantastic job they did this week. Not only did they keep the games running smoothly, but they also took the time to help new players, explain the rules and make everyone feel welcome.

A big thank you as well to our barmaid, Sam, who does a brilliant job sorting all the registrations, organising the chips and making sure everything is ready before the cards are even dealt.

And a massive shout out to Paul, who organises these poker nights week in, week out without fail. The amount of time and effort he puts in behind the scenes is incredible. His passion for the game and his commitment to making every Thursday a great night is helping build a fantastic poker community here at The Trimmers Arms.

Finally, thank you to everyone else who gives up their time to deal, help out and keep the nights running smoothly. It really doesn’t go unnoticed, and without all of you these nights simply wouldn’t be the success they are.

Absolutely blown away! What can I say other than your Sunday dinners are the best around. They’re worth every mile of the drive to get to you.

When I say the portions are huge, trust me you won’t finish it all! The food is cooked to perfection, packed with flavour, and the value for money is outstanding.

If you’re looking for an amazing Sunday dinner, I can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Another brilliant Poker Night at The Trimmers Arms! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along last night. We had two full tables again, and it’s fantastic to see the poker night getting bigger and better every week.

A massive congratulations to Vane, who played a cracking game to take the title! 🏆

There was a bit of history behind last night’s game too. Sean “The King” Harmon had won week after week before missing one Thursday, when Andy stepped up and claimed the crown. Sean was back last night looking to take his title back… but Vane had other ideas and played superbly to take the win. 👏

One thing I love about our poker nights is that every table is different. One table was full of big bets and aggressive play, while the other was much more patient and tactical. It just shows there are so many different ways to play the game, and every week you learn something new.

It was also great to see Elise back with us. The more players we have, the better the atmosphere gets.

If you’ve ever fancied giving poker a go, don’t be put off if you’ve never played before. Everyone started somewhere, and we’ve got a great group of players and brilliant dealers who are always happy to help and guide new players through the game.

We’re building a fantastic poker community here at The Trimmers Arms, and I’d love to see a few more new faces next Thursday.
