John St Kitchen Temporarily closed. We host events including book launches, parties, family lego, poetry nights and guest chefs here in the cafe and in our fantastic courtyard.

We are the onsite cafe at , open early serving hot breakfast butties, full monty fry ups, American-style stack pancakes, french toast, pastries, cakes, salads and more. Find us a few minutes walk from Bramall Lane/Abbeydale Road.

The John St Kitchen is now closed.

We are planning some exciting changes at Harland Works! Unfortunately - in the short term - we will need to close the cafe at Harland Works in order to do some work refitting this space.

It will therefore close to the public at the end of August and only be available for pre-booked events in September.

In October & November there will be a 6 to 8 week refurbishment program - before then moves seamlessly across the courtyard to their new, improved and larger home!

Once EYEYE have moved out of their existing unit, 72 John St will be available for a new tenant - and so we are now looking for someone who'd like to take on that space, and create a new cafe / bar for Harland Works.

and on Rightmove. Any enquiries can be directed either to Sophy Hallam at Harland Works, or Tom or Charlie at Crosthwaite Commercial who are the agents handling the rental.

Ideally we would love to see a new cafe opening here before Christmas.

We offer a flexible space for private hire. Perfect for meetings, parties or training events.

Our food is not only delicious but also ethically sourced, with a variety of options for vegan or gluten-free customers. Our friendly café team make most of our food in-house and are dedicated to making sure we’ve catered to your specific needs. And our lovely outdoor courtyard gives you space to sit outside if the weather’s nice.

Add the option for food on the enquiry form and we can send you our latest menus and prices. We are licenced until 11 pm with beer from Abbeydale Brewery, wine from Le Bon Vin wine importers and a spirits and mixers. We can order in kegs for your event as well.
