Morning, loves.

As most of you know, we have closed our shutters for a final time at the market. I will be taking two weeks off, and will be forming a new team and a new culinary adventure. I would like to take this time to thank you all so much for encouraging advice, for love and feedback, and for boosting my confidence to move on to bigger ventures. I have formed friendships, given and received love.. and I have LOVED cooking for Scunthorpe. I will miss you all!

I'm ending this post by saluting the beautiful island that saved my life: Jamaica. We do not yet even know the measure of death and destruction. Or what more is to come as the country now deals with flooding after category 5 hurricane melissa.
But whatever it is, you will rise from it.
You are devastated and torn. You are shocked and broken, but you are also Tallawahh and God Blessed. I never knew a place like it.
Gather your faith, harness your boastiness, kiss your teeth at melissa's back and pick up your work mach-ete. Let's show the world what Likkle, but Tallawah looks like. I am praying for you all.
