We are really looking forward to Lucy, from Salt & Crumb Looe | Microbakery joining us next Friday to host her bake tasting afternoon. Please do come down & show your support for your local microbaker ❤️ Please see below 👇 to find out a little bit more from Lucy at Salt & Crumb: ‘As a microbakery we don’t often get the chance to showcase our delicious bakes to new customers and even if we are a little biased, they deserve their own moment in the spotlight! 👩‍🍳🍞 We’ve been busy thinking ahead to the festive season, trialling new recipes, tweaking ratios and perfecting that balance between crunchy crust and the soft and tender inner crumb - perfect for sharing and dipping into your favourite festive cheeses. We are delighted with what we’ve been able to create for the Christmas party season and we hope you’ll join us at our FREE tasting afternoon on Friday 9th October 12.30 - 2.30pm. We’ll be bringing along plenty to tuck into, including our signature sun-dried tomato and garlic loaf, our speciality sourdough, focaccia and our tear and share festive platters with accompanying sides & dips 🤤 It’ll be a treat for the senses and a delight on the tastebuds - that we can promise!’❤️ We hope you can pop along and grab some coffee & cake whilst you’re here.

Edit* Contact number corrected * If you’ve stopped by recently you may have noticed we’ve been supporting local artist, Alan Kingwell 🖌️🎨 Alan has been showcasing his work with us for the past few weeks and it’s proven incredibly popular ✨ Alan regularly hosts pop-up workshops allowing budding painters to try their hand at creating beautiful landscapes. Alan’s next workshop will be held here at The Stables on the 11th & 18th of November. This is two day workshop, all materials are provided except from brushes that you will need to bring along. If you don’t have any, Alan can recommend some to buy. At the end of the workshop you will have created a beautiful moonlit sand dune landscape like the one featured 🖼️ Please book directly with Alan on the number above. ☝️ spaces are limited to a maximum of 8, with a minimum of 4 needed for it to go ahead. A £20 per person deposit is required to secure your space. ❤️

October is shaping up to be a great month for live music 🎶 Kicking off the first Saturday of the month with Paul Armer, followed by the Smooth Criminals, Jay & The Strayz & finishing off on Halloween with Big Dog Boogie Band 🎃 On Saturday 24th there will be no live music as we are hosting a private wedding 💍 So, that’s Saturday nights covered as we head into spooky season. Our Sunday sessions will continue this month - keep a look out for those!

On Wednesday afternoon we have the incredible father & daughter artistic duo, Amber & Alan Kingwell joining us for an informal, live painting demo in the courtyard 👨‍🎨🎨 if you’re in the area or take an interest in local art and the process do drop by to take a look as they work on their new pieces ❤️ Alan is also currently showcasing his art at The Stables so, you are more than welcome to take a look at his magical Cornwall inspired pieces 🌊

Just wow, 🤩 our little shop is just bursting at the seams with beautiful things as we’ve been busy bees ordering lots of new stock to compliment our recent shop refresh ✨ You can find the most beautifully sumptuous cushions & complimentary rugs, stunning healing crystals, the prettiest story books (making excellent gifts!) to autumn knits and novelty socks. It’s bursting with wonderfulness! ❤️ We were lucky enough to welcome back the incredibly talented Alan Kingwell & his equally talented daughter, Amber today. Alan brought along some new pieces from his collection including his sculpted Buddha plant pots, dragon plinths & some more stunning pieces of wall art. 🫶🏼 Alan’s work has been very popular with a lot of his pieces being one off’s you may not want to hang around if you’re hoping to purchase one. See you soon! ❤️
