This Sunday, 11 October, we will be at The Barn at Sir Henry's with samples, wedding cake ideas and a look at the different ways Marisola Parlour can be part of your day.

Traditional tiers are only one option.

We can also talk about deconstructed displays, single-tier cakes, Bundts, dessert tables and favours - all plant-bases and made with gluten-free ingredients.

Romford, we are back this Saturday.

Something we have been thinking about adding to the Marisola Menu is sharing and party platters.

A mix of the smaller bakes you already see from us - tarts, mini cakes, cupcakes, brownie bites, éclairs and other individual desserts - brought together for birthdays, family gatherings and smaller celebrations.

Everything, as always, would remain plant-based and made with gluten-free ingredients, with the option to choose a mix that works for your occasion.

A little look back at our September Paint & Crumb.

An evening of cake, colour, good food and time to do something simply because you enjoy it.

One of our favourite things about these workshops is seeing how differently everyone approaches the same blank canvas. Some arrive with a plan, some make it up as they go - and both work.

Our first time at Wanstead Festival — and what a day.

The weather had other ideas, but the welcome more than made up for it. We set up, smiled through it and even sold out of éclairs — something we don't usually bring to markets, so that felt like a win.

One moment that really stayed with me was meeting a customer who hadn't been able to freely choose from a stall like ours before. She picked a slice of loaf cake without the usual questions or hesitation, and being part of that simple moment was a lovely reminder of exactly why we do this.

I had my daughter with me for the day too, which made it feel even more special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made our first visit such a memorable one. We'd love to be back in Wanstead again soon.

Our Paint & Crumb sessions are inspired by the floral arangements by Sophie from Olivia Rose Emporium Limited. These are the beautiful blooms from our last session in June. Each guest starts here, and creates their own interpretation of for their cake.
