Incase you missed a man zipping up and down st Mary’s street on a blue bike the man behind the camera was Aaron Carter!

Not only did he single handedly set up 2 stages, he also sound checked ( when he could), did one gig, hosted karaoke and took photos in between!

🏴‍☠️🍻 WELL… THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY. 🍻🏴‍☠️

Another Pirate Weekend at The Black Dog — and WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 😂

Months of planning went into it: bands, timings, decorations, stock, food, T-shirts, passports, staffing, sound systems… and the eternal question:

How much rum is enough rum?

Turns out the answer is MORE. 🤦‍♀️😂

You came.
You dressed up.
You danced.
You sang.
You drank.

A LOT.

And despite your very best efforts, you’ve failed YET AGAIN to drink all the rum. 🏴‍☠️🥃😂

To every musician who squeezed into The Black Dog and performed in what can only be described as tropical conditions — THANK YOU! 🥵🎸

You absolutely smashed it, and you helped create an incredible atmosphere all weekend.

But the biggest thank you goes to my Black Dog crew. ❤️

Three days of absolute carnage behind that bar.

No personal space.
No time to think.
Barely time to p*e. 😂

Thousands of drinks. Endless glasses. Barrels disappearing at an alarming rate.

And somehow, they kept smiling, serving and cracking on.

I’ve thrown a lot at this team over the years, but Pirate Weekend is something else entirely. Once again, they absolutely smashed it.

I’m incredibly proud of every one of you. ❤️

And to all of YOU — our regulars, visitors, pirates, wenches, Jack Sparrows, musicians and assorted drunken reprobates…
