63 Residents. 63 Christmas Surprises. One Amazing Community. 🎄

This Christmas, we want to do something a little bit special at The Oddies… and we’d LOVE our wonderful village to be part of it! ❤️

We’ve set ourselves a Christmas mission to create 63 shoebox-sized Christmas hampers for the lovely residents of Davenham Hall Nursing Home. 🥹🎁

63 little boxes filled with thoughtful gifts, kindness and a whole lot of Christmas love!

🎄 OUR CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE 🎄

From 1st November, our Giving Tree will be up in The Oddies, filled with gift tags showing items we’d love to collect.

Simply pop in, choose a tag, or have a look at what’s needed and donate whatever you can.

❤️ You don’t need to fill a whole shoebox! One little gift can make a big difference when we all pull together.

We know Christmas can be expensive, so there’s absolutely no pressure. Whether you donate one little item or simply come along to help us wrap, every bit of kindness counts.

What a fantastic night once again at The Oddies! 🍻❤️

After plenty of smashing, swinging, questionable techniques 😂 and some VERY competitive conkering… we have our 2026 CONKER CHAMPION! 🏆🌰

Congratulations Simon! 👏 Your name will now take its rightful place on the Oddies Conker Board FOR LIFE! 😂🏆

But even better than the bragging rights… together we raised a fantastic £150! ❤️

As this year’s winner, Simon got to choose where the money would go, and he has very kindly chosen to donate it to our Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising 💗🎀

That £150 will now be added to everything we raise throughout October as we turn the Oddies PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💕

Rory takes the keys to the refurbished Cross Keys pub in Nottingham! 🗝️

Our new Management Partner Rory Calladine has taken the reins at the popular city centre pub following a £100,000 investment.

🗨️"I was instantly drawn to the pub and as soon I discovered it was available in a partnership with Punch, I jumped at the chance." 🍍

Regular guests at The Cross Keys will instantly notice the pub’s traditional feel and special characteristics have been retained throughout but that a complete refresh has taken place. 💫

We have reopened the Keyworth Tavern following a quarter-of-a-million refurbishment 🔥

The Keyworth pub in Nottingham, run by our Management Partner John Francis, had been closed for 5 weeks while we tore out the bar, stripped the pub back and replaced everything with new, modern furnishings. 🤩

Great work by everyone involved in the transformation 🥂

Newly married couple Gareth and Jamie Furness have take the over The Bay Horse Inn in Pickering. 🔔

The pub has received a £400,000 investment and Gareth says it has been very well received by locals. 😃

“We are seeing more locals returning to the pub, faces that haven't been seen here for many years and we are seeing them on a regular basis... The refurb has really put The Bay Horse Inn back on the map and firmly at the heart of the Pickering community.” ❤️

Well done to everyone involved in this brilliant transformation 👏
