We had a fantastic morning with Emily from Evergreen Exploring.
Lots of apple rolling, collecting and transporting, making apple baskets, scavenger hunts, 'mud kitchen' play, stories, songs and best of all .... leaves on the parachute!

🐐 It was a very slobbery day at Beetle Bank Farm! I think we were all thoroughly washed by Clarissa and her very long tongue!
We loved meeting the new donkeys, feeding all the animals, cuddling the guinea pigs, walking Autumn the alpaca, and being climbed on by the escaped goat in the paddocks!

It was a slightly drizzly day, but we had so much fun at Flamingoland. We went on the train and spotted so many animals.
We loved watching Aurora, the baby hippo. She came right up to the fence to say hello, and then followed us all the way down to the bottom of her enclosure. We wanted to go and play with her.

This will be fun. Lots of painting to be done!

We had a wonderful visit to Helmsley Walled Garden. We loved showing our friends around. We fed the chickens, ran around the labyrinth, inspected all the vegetable plots, admired the tall sunflowers, marvelled at the pumpkin display, tried to count all the apples and enjoyed all the water features!

We've had a lovely day today watching the animals enjoy the sunshine. The fur seals caused great excitement and we all practiced our roars with the lion. We were very impressed at how fast the giant tortoise can run- nearly as fast as us!
Of course we had a ride on the train, and said hello to Peter Rabbit.

😍 After 2 Castles and homemade pizza in one day, that's the end of the summer holidays.
Thank you to all the children for making the summer so much fun.
Back to school tomorrow, and some quiet days, as we settle back in to our term time routines.
