🍜 KUMO RAMEN – KITCHEN STAFF REQUIRED 🍜
KUMO Ramen is currently seeking two reliable and enthusiastic kitchen team members to join our growing team in Newport, based within the busy Kingsway Shopping Centre.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, small kitchen environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy working under pressure and take pride in delivering quality food and service.
🔧 Role Responsibilities
• Preparing and cooking ramen dishes and side items to a consistent standard
• Assisting with food preparation and ingredient handling
• Serving customers directly from a compact, open kitchen service area
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene standards at all times
• Working efficiently during busy trading periods within a high-footfall shopping centre
👤 What We’re Looking For
• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
• Basic understanding of ingredients and cooking processes
• Ability to work quickly, calmly, and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to get involved
Full training will be provided in the KUMO style of cooking and service, so a strong work ethic and the right attitude are just as important as experience.
📅 Working Hours
• Initially weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
• Opportunity for additional hours or full-time work across nearby locations for the right candidate
