🌿🍕 Pizza Friday Postponed 🍕🌿
I’m genuinely gutted to be writing this.
Everything is ready. The shed and kitchen are looking absolutely beautiful, and we’ve worked like dogs over the past few weeks to get everything finished in time for tonight.
Unfortunately, I’ve developed a problem with my foot and it’s currently swollen to the size of a melon. As much as I’ve tried to push through, I need to be sensible and give it some rest.
The good news is this is only a postponement. I’ll be taking tonight to recover and make sure we’re ready to come back stronger for Sunday Solstice, which I’m determined to make our best pizza night yet.
Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support. Running a small independent business is a labour of love, and your encouragement means more than you know.

🍕 The wait is finally over... Pizza is back at Northern Slice!
Join us this Friday 19th June from 5pm as Pizza Night returns, with fresh wood-fired pizzas, great coffee, and a chance to see all the changes we’ve been working so hard on.
Then on Sunday 21st June from 5pm till late, we’re slowing things down for our Summer Solstice gathering. Think easy tunes, good food, cold drinks and a relaxed evening in the garden as we celebrate the longest day of the year.
As the sun drops over the garden, we’ll be turning up the laid-back Café del Mar vibes. Good food, chilled beats, sunset skies and a place to unwind with friends.
Bring your friends, bring your favourite drink, and let’s make the most of a beautiful summer weekend.

Another little sneak preview of what we’ve been working on... ☕🌿🍕
The new-look Northern Slice is almost ready, and we’re putting the finishing touches on everything ahead of Pizza Friday this week.
We’re really pleased with how it’s all coming together, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to enjoy the garden, great coffee, wood-fired pizza and a few summer evenings with us.
🔥 Pizza Friday starts this Friday from 5pm.
And we’re also thinking about opening up for a relaxed Summer Solstice evening on Sunday too... good food, good company, maybe a few tunes, and some serious Café del Mar vibes as the sun goes down. 🌅

Something exciting has been happening behind the scenes at Northern Slice! ☕🍕
We’ve been working hard for what feels like weeks, refreshing, rebuilding, and creating a beautiful new home for one of our wood-fired ovens. The transformation is almost complete, and we’re so excited to finally give you a sneak peek.
A fresh new look, hot food returning, and the same great atmosphere you’ve always loved.
🔥 Pizza Friday is back on Friday 19th June from 5pm – and yes, it’s BYOB!
Thank you for supporting us over the last 5 years. We can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors to experience the new Northern Slice. It’s amazing what some paint and reclaimed materials can produce. Some finishing touches and were done.

Something exciting has been happening behind the scenes at Northern Slice! 🍕☕
We’ve been working hard for what feels like weeks, refreshing, rebuilding, and creating a beautiful new trailer for one of our ovens. We can’t wait to share it with you all.
The fresh new setup is nearly ready, and we’re looking forward to serving up the same great pizza and coffee from an even better space.

Working super hard to get the shed finished after some work. We’re almost there but today we’re replacing the water pipes inside. Unfortunately we can’t open during this stage. See you all tomorrow x

A little update from Northern Slice 🍕
Sadly, we’re not quite ready yet, which means there’ll be no pizza this weekend.
We’ve been working flat out behind the scenes on the new pizza kitchen build, but after running into a few issues we’ve decided the best thing to do is aim for next weekend instead.
As frustrating as it is, waiting until we’re fully ready is the best option for both us and for you. We want to make sure we can serve properly, keep things running smoothly, and give everyone the experience they deserve rather than rushing things before we’re ready.
We’re so close now and genuinely can’t wait to get the ovens fired up and welcome everyone back properly.
Thank you again for all the patience, support, and encouragement while we build this thing the right way ❤️🍕
