BIG BANK HOLIDAY ENERGY INCOMING 🍕🍕🍕🤙🏻

This weekend is going to be an absolute monster for Maggie & Mo’s — two crews, two festivals, two days, plus the Slice Shop doing its thing.

Another crew, another oven, another couple of days slinging pizzas.

🛹 THE SLICE SHOP — Hwb, Narberth
Open Friday, Saturday + Bank Holiday Monday keeping West Wales supplied with stupidly big 18” pies and proper NY slices.

Basically, Maggie & Mo’s is going to be EVERYWHERE this Bank Holiday weekend 😂

Three locations. Two festival crews. A frankly unreasonable amount of dough.

🚨 NEW STAFF MEMBER ALERT 🚨

Meet Brecon. 🐶🍕🤙🏻

The newest — and quite possibly least qualified — member of the Maggie & Mo’s crew.

He’s 22 weeks old, has absolutely zero pizza experience, no concept of personal space and his current skill set consists mainly of eating, sleeping, causing chaos and looking ridiculously handsome.

So naturally, we’ve hired him. 😂

From this weekend Brecon will be out and about with us, learning the ropes on the trailer and joining us at pop-ups across West Wales.

His responsibilities will include:

🐾 General morale
🐾 Welcoming the Pizza Faithful
🐾 Hoovering up anything that hits the floor
🐾 Looking cute enough to distract you while we’re getting battered on service
🐾 Absolutely NOT being trusted anywhere near the pepperoni

He’s got a lot to learn about life on the road with Maggie & Mo’s…

But then again, so did the rest of us. 😂

🍕 SO… WHERE ARE WE POPPING UP THIS AUTUMN? 🍂🤙🏻

Summer is nearly done, the nights are drawing in, and we’re starting to plan where Maggie & Mo’s will be heading this autumn.

September is already pretty much stacked, so we’re now looking ahead to October and November — and we’re keen to add a few new places, events and collaborations to the calendar.

Halloween. Bonfire Night. Skater events. Band nights. Comedy nights. Brewery events. Pub nights. Private parties. Whatever you’ve got planned, if you think Maggie & Mo’s would be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re not talking about squeezing into any old market pitch or turning up with a little pizza van and a gazebo. We’re looking for proper nights, great venues, good crowds and events where Maggie & Mo’s can roll in, fire up the ovens and bring the full experience.

Pubs. Breweries. Taprooms. Skateparks. Music venues. Comedy clubs. Campsites. Private spaces. Weird and wonderful corners of West Wales. Somewhere we haven’t thought of yet.

If you run a venue or you’re planning an event that could suit Maggie & Mo’s, drop us a message. We’re not looking to fill every spare date — we’re looking for the right places, the right people and a few brilliant nights to carry us through once summer disappears.

So the last week of the summer holidays is here and our last pop ups at a few venues this week as the summer comes to an end. Huge thanks to everyone’s that’s been down to Aberporth to grab Pizza this summer, to the Ceridwen Centre and Top of the Woods we’ve loved sharing our food with you all and huge thanks to the venues that have hosted us, one more service at each of the above this week so you’ve got one last chance to grab a pizza at these venues before the autumn.

Not a bad view from the office today.

100+ wedding guests, sunshine absolutely showing off, drinks flowing and Maggie & Mo’s slinging pizza by the box for the newlyweds and their crew.

There’s something pretty bloody special about being invited into someone’s wedding day. We turn up, fire up the ovens, feed a small army and hopefully become a tiny part of a day they’ll remember forever.

Huge congratulations to these two legends. ❤️

Another wedding event for us today 🍕💒🤙🏻

100+ guests, a cheeky afternoon service and today we’re doing things a little differently…

PIZZA BY THE BOX. 🍕📦

Fresh pizzas coming straight out of the ovens, boxed up and handed over to hungry wedding guests to demolish wherever they fancy.

No formal sit-down dinner. No tiny portions. No waiting around wondering when the food’s coming.

Just boxes of hot, fresh pizza, cooked with fire and flying out as fast as we can make them. 🔥

We bloody love weddings like this. Everyone’s already having a great time, the drinks are flowing, people are hungry and then a massive box of pizza lands in their hands. 😂

100+ guests to feed this afternoon, so it’s time to fire up the ovens and get stuck in.

Congratulations to today’s couple ❤️ Thanks for letting Maggie & Mo’s crash the party.

🚨 INTRODUCING: DAVID’S DAILY 🚨

Right, here’s the problem…

David has ADHD. David also makes a LOT of pizza. 🍕
He bloody loves making pizza.

What he doesn’t love is making the same pizza over and over and over again.

And when David gets bored, David starts buying s**t we absolutely do not need on Amazon. 📦

So, in an attempt to protect both the business bank account and Sioned’s sanity, we’re introducing…

🍕 DAVID’S DAILY 🍕

From next week, every time David is working in the Slice Shop — usually about twice a week — he’ll head out that morning, raid the local deli for whatever looks good, come back and make ONE completely random pizza.

No planning.
No focus groups.
No sensible menu development meetings.

Just David, some ingredients and whatever his ADHD has decided is an excellent idea that morning.

It goes on the menu FOR THAT DAY ONLY and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Expect some absolute fu***ng bangers. 🔥
Expect some questionable decisions.
Expect combinations that split the room straight down the middle.
And expect the occasional pizza that probably should never be spoken of again.

But if it keeps David entertained and stops another completely unnecessary Amazon delivery arriving at Maggie & Mo’s…
