Well folks, after 20odd years, I’ve just finished my last shift at Munchies. Can I express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you that have supported us over the years, kept a roof over my head and helped raise the family.So,Say goodnight Dick, That’s all Folks, See you round like Doughnuts and as the actress said to the Bishop........

P.S. There are some assorted plates, dishes and cutlery on the benches outside the cafe free to a good home if any body wants them for themselves or a car boot.

G’day Folks-just a courtesy call- After nearly 50 years of being self employed
( 20 years at Munchies ) and having outlasted oil and petrol rationing,financial crashes,recession, the 3 day week, the Falklands Iraq and Afghanistan wars, in and out of the EU ( or Common Market as it once was),smoking bans, sugar tax etc etc
basically War Disease and Pestillence,it is time to call it a day, saddle up and ride off into the sunset.
MUNCHIES will therefore cease trading and close its doors for the last time on SATURDAY 26th MARCH.
Thank you all for your custom and friendship over those years, so from the girls and myself Keep safe, Keep smiling
and Keep the faith😘
