We're turning back the clock to the 80s with an evening of Synth Pop, Dance Classics and plenty of tunes that'll have you singing along!

🍺 ALL ABOARD THE RAIL ALE TRAIL! 🚆

We’re really pleased to see Ye Olde Thirsty Pig included as one of the Maidstone stops on the Thames & Medway Rail Ale Trail.

The trail brings together 16 pubs across 9 different areas, linking some cracking independent pubs, micropubs and brewery taprooms by rail across Kent.

You can make a day of the Medway Valley route, head towards West Malling, explore the main Thames & Medway line – or simply pick a few stops and create your own little ale adventure.

And when you reach Maidstone, make sure The Pig is on your list! 🐷🍺

We’re at 4A Knightrider Street, Maidstone, ME15 6LP, right in the town centre and an easy walk between Maidstone East and Maidstone West stations.

We’re really proud to say that Ye Olde Thirsty Pig is in the CAMRA Good B**r Guide 2027! 🍻🐷
A massive thank you to CAMRA and everyone involved for the continued support of pubs like ours. It genuinely means a lot to be recognised and included in a guide that celebrates proper pubs and good b**r.
We’re a small independent pub and we just try to do what we do best — keep good b**r, create a friendly place to meet, and make sure there’s always a bit of life about the place.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who drinks with us, supports us, comes along to our events and keeps The Pig going. You’re the reason we’re still here doing what we love.

Freshly poured and ready for you this week! Here’s what’s currently lining our taps:

Apparition- Pig & Porter (4.4%)
English session stout brewed in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Features a dry bitter first hit transitioning into caramel, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and subtle cherry or dark-fruit cake notes.

Caravan- Pig & Porter (3.4%)
Copper/red/brown session bitter.
Features big caramel and toffee malt flavors, a tangerine fruity punch from English ale yeast and hops, and aroma hints of Christmas cake, dark fruits, and muscovado sugar.

Come Hyther!- Romney Marsh Brewery (4.3%)
A golden/ straw colour, a strong, sweet and aromatic pale ale, akin to an American Pale. It showcases locally-grown Cascade hops from Hythe Hops community hop garden.

California Leaning- Kent brewery (5%)
American IPA / West Coast IPA, Hoppy brew featuring grapefruit, citrus fruit flavors, pine, resin, and a characteristic bitterness.
