🇺🇸 NEW TODAY — THE LILY’S PHILLY! 🤤🧡

This is one we’ve been playing about with for a while now… I think we’ve finally nailed it, and it fits nicely alongside our French; Greek; Italian & Mexican toasties!

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Philadelphia quite a few times to stay with family, and one of my all-time favourite foods has to be a Philly cheesesteak. So, we’ve given it a wee Lily’s twist.

Campbell’s silverside beef, roasted red peppers, caramelised onion chutney & melted cheese on toasted malted bread.

(Bay, our inspiring young chef, loves it with a smear of mustard in there n aw! 🤤)

Served with your choice of salad, Lily’s coleslaw or handcooked crisps, or any combination.

THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL! 🌶️

Lily’s No-Jar Chilli!

No jars were harmed in the making of this chilli… mainly because we didn’t use any 😉🤠

This week we’ve gone properly homemade with our smoky beef chilli, made from scratch with Irish beef, peppers, kidney & black beans and our own blend of spices.

It’s got a lovely medium kick 🌶️ with enough warmth to know you’re eating chilli, without blowing your head off!

Served with basmati rice, melted cheddar, sour cream & tortilla chips and only £9.95!

Don’t forget — you can have our homemade chilli piled onto one of our baked potatoes too! 🥔🌶️

🎄🧡ONE EXTRA PRESENT — LILY’S CHRISTMAS GIVING APPEAL 🧡🎄

Ok, September is only getting going, but lots of us are already starting to pick up the odd Christmas present here and there, so we thought we’d start something early this year.

From Wednesday 23rd September, Lily’s will become a collection point for One Extra Present, our Christmas appeal supporting Fife Gingerbread

Fife Gingerbread is a fantastic local organisation which has been supporting families across Fife since 1987. Their aim is to help create “better todays and brighter tomorrows for lone parents and families in need.”

When we contacted them about our idea, something in their reply really stayed with us:

“For a large number of our families, we know due to financial pressures, there will be little to no presents at Christmas.”

So the idea is incredibly simple. 🧡

While you’re shopping for the people you love this Christmas, could you pick up just ONE EXTRA PRESENT?

We’ll have a collection point here at Lily’s from Wednesday 23rd September, and Fife Gingerbread will help make sure your gifts reach families who need that little bit of extra Christmas magic.

And this is only one part of Christmas at Lily’s. 🎄

As always, we’ll be opening our doors on Christmas Day from 11am–2pm, completely free.

No charge. No booking. No reason required🧡

We’ll also be collecting money on the day for our friends at Levenmouth Food Bank Community Support Project

Sometimes it’s one extra wee present.
Sometimes it’s a few pounds in a collection tin.
Sometimes it’s making room at the table for somebody else.

If we all do a little, together we can do quite a lot. ❤️
