Peru has been on my list for a while, and thanks to the charity auction courtesy of , I embarked on an unforgettable trip.

put together the perfect itinerary for this bucket list adventure. We started in Lima at in the bohemian Barranco district, a boutique hotel that could double as a living art gallery with its curated collection of Peruvian painters and sculptors. The sky-lit courtyard was a welcome bonus.

Dinner at — Chef Pia Leon’s tasting menu was a revelatory experience, bringing a deeply authentic and creative approach to Peru’s staple foods. She masterfully reimagined ingredients like quinoa, corn, and chocolate, showcasing the bounty of the country’s soils in every bite.

From Lima, we flew to Iquitos to board the . 184 feet of river luxury and unparalleled river views from the Owner’s Suite were on offer, the perfect viewing platform for scores of toucans, pink dolphins and poison dart frogs. The deep cocktail menu paired well with views of the enchanting Amazon jungle.

Into the Sacred Valley next at near Urubamba, featuring 25 acres of charming casitas replete with fireplaces, hummingbird gardens and farm-to-table breakfasts. Necessary to fuel hikes along the Inca Trail.

Traditional pachamanca lunch at was a standout. Harking to a timeless tradition of cooking meat, vegetables and herbs with volcanic rocks, the process took on a ritualistic quality. When the dish was unearthed, the smoky, earthy flavors lingered long after the meal was over.

And finally, , a Belmond Hotel in Cusco. A mesmerizing 17th-century converted convent brimming with elegance in its stone arcades and hidden courtyards. Luxury shines in the details, from hand embroidered cloths to hot water bottles tucked into beds, ensuring restful, headache-free sleep in spite of the altitude.

Peru weaves luxury, history and raw adventure- honored to have experienced it and to share it with . 🇵🇪

Honored to be part of ’s Women Who Lead: Shaping the Future of Food panel in London for International Women’s Day.

A meaningful conversation on the future of food and the role women play in shaping, leading, and redefining the industry every day. And, a bit of a full circle moment coming back to the Bberg offices as a speaker....deja vu to my days working on Wall Street.

Grateful to Ruth David for leading such an inspiring discussion, Kate Krader for her vision and curation, and so honored to share the stage with my dear friend and powerhouse and the amazing .

A powerful group of women shaping the future of food. 💙

Thank you for having me.
The last image is a screen grab from 2011 when I was the second most viewed person on Bberg. Hysterical!

January is a good time to return to foods that nourish from the inside out.

Kimchi has been part of Korean kitchens for generations…not as a trend, but as everyday nourishment.

Did you know?
Kimchi is naturally fermented and rich in beneficial bacteria, often referred to as lactobacillus, which supports gut health. It’s also a good source of fibre and contains vitamins A, B and C, along with antioxidants from ingredients like garlic, ginger and chilli.

Lovely to see this classic featured in Healthy Eating, and to see kimchi highlighted as part of their health trends for the year ahead. A reminder that eating well doesn’t have to be complicated.

Tteokbokki everywhere? Not a surprise.

As we head into a new year, global food trends are leaning into sweet-spicy flavors, nostalgic comfort, and dishes rooted in everyday culture. Tteokbokki sits right at that intersection.

From its chewy rice cakes to its bold, warming sauce, this is Korean street food that’s always been craveable even long before it became a trend.

Trends may spotlight it, but this is food with history.

Did you know? Tteokbokki was recently named one of the global food trends to watch in a feature.

Ad. Korean food is so much more than trends. It’s about everyday life, care, and food that’s meant to be shared.

Kimchi isn’t something we eat once in a while…it’s on the table year-round, passed down through generations and made with intention.

I loved being part of this thoughtful piece exploring how Korean food is finding its place in the UK, not by competing with other cuisines, but by being understood on its own terms.

Grateful to be part of this exploration of Korean food and culture in the UK, in partnership with .

Thank you to and .tv for telling this story so beautifully.

Happy Giving Tuesday! 💚🍐

Proud to be partnering with and to help nourish New Yorkers today and throughout the holiday season. City Harvest rescues more than 86 million pounds of nutritious food each year and delivers it directly to families who need it most — an extraordinary mission I’m honored to support.

To help raise awareness, we shared boxes of Subarashii’s beautiful Asian Pears with chef friends, along with a small note about today’s campaign. This initiative will help Subarashii Kudamono nourish 2,300 New Yorkers for a day, a meaningful contribution to City Harvest’s work.

I’m endlessly grateful for this community, for your friendship, generosity, and the joy you bring to the culinary world.

Together, we nourish. Together, we give. 💚

It was a pleasure sharing my story with Bella Wu for her project “Out of the Shadows”, which spotlights women forging their own paths.

From engineering, to finance, to reinventing myself through the kitchen, food media, and television — my journey has always come back to joy, authenticity, and embracing both wins and failures.

Today, success feels quieter: peace, the people I love, and the simple things beyond the spotlight.

And, I’m so proud of Bella — Even while still in high school, she has already founded , a sustainable candle company that supports female entrepreneurs. Her creativity and drive at such a young age are truly inspiring.

Thank you Bella and the .bw community for sharing my story. 💛

We’ll explore what it means to pivot, pursue passion, and—of course—how food has shaped every step of my life. 🍳

10 recipes. 1 day. A whole lot of chaos (and deliciousness) 🎬✨

Here’s a peek behind the scenes of filming my 10 K-Viral Kitchen Recipes series — from food styling trays prepped with every ingredient, to long hours of whisking, chopping, plating, and yes… plenty of laughs in between.

At one point even my couch got involved — doubling as the staging area for all the prop styling (I love food styling!). 🛋️🍴 Proof that when you film 10 recipes in a day, the whole house becomes part of the kitchen.

It’s not always glamorous, but it’s always worth it. 👩🏻‍🍳

👉 Swipe all the way to the end for a tour of my bespoke Molteni stove — a little messier than usual after cooking up a storm. 😂

Any guesses which recipes we filmed? Drop your predictions below! 👇🍴
