From our café in Covent Garden to our in-office education sessions, from our coffee beans to catering events, we’re creating real solutions to tackle the 94% unemployment rate for adults with learning disabilities, equipping individuals and employers with the skills to build sustainable, neuroinclusive careers.

If somebody with a learning disability wants to work, they can, and we’re here to make it possible.

Something very cool is driving into The Yards this week! We’re thrilled to announce that Fair Shot - Specialty Cafe in Covent Garden ☕️ is partnering with MINI Park Lane for an exclusive pop-up at The Yards!

We’ll be parked up with a special MINI Cooper Convertible on Saturday 15th August, 11am-4pm serving up FREE iced strawberry matcha drinks (while stocks last). 💚

Today on , we’re reflecting on the true power of connection - the kind that brings joy, trust, and belonging to our learners’ lives.

Research shows that 77% of people with disabilities aged 18 to 34 feel lonely, largely because individuals with learning disabilities often have fewer opportunities to socialize and build social networks throughout youth.

At Fairshot, we believe support can’t stop at employment skills. It must create intentional spaces for real relationships to thrive. Friendships aren’t a bonus - they are essential to well-being.

Step into our café and you’ll see more than people learning on shift. You see partnerships built on shared jokes, steady encouragement, and genuine trust. Whether mastering new skills or backing each other up during a rush, Trahmal and Erik remind us what true inclusion is.

When we prioritize community alongside training, it doesn’t just build careers - it breaks down isolation.

Do you have a favourite treat - or favourite table in the cafe?

Sometimes a little swipe, a little magic and a couple of delicious treats are just what the doctor ordered. 🩺👩🏻‍⚕️

A slice of our delectable carrot cake, a scrumptious wrap, a flat white and a matcha latte, all served or created by our lovely team in our teaching cafe, sharpening their hospitality skills.

Top tip; #13 is perfect for people watching out in … sometimes you’ll even spot local Covent Garden legends like interviewing out there!
