🎟️ Giveaway: 2 passes to the Bitcoin conference in Amsterdam (details below)
My entry into astrology was never mystical. My background is in economics and statistics, disciplines rooted in probability, inference, and the study of patterns. I specialised in quantitative techniques during my undergraduate degree, worked in investment banking for a few years, and later returned to graduate school to study philosophy, where my research focused on intimacy. My thesis was titled Getting Intimate with Discomfort, and it examined how vulnerability and exposure form the basis of authentic human connection.
Just when I thought I’d left finance behind, Bitcoin found me through philosophy. One of my professors, Dr. Paul Ennis, was super into it, and some of his classes touched on crypto. I’ve been intrigued ever since.
In retrospect, all of these threads (finance, probability, intimacy) were variations on the same theme: risk. Banking taught me that uncertainty can be modelled but never eliminated. Philosophy taught me that intimacy, too, is an act of investment, a willingness to risk one’s stability for connection. When I encountered astrology, it felt like an extension of all of it: another way of reading cycles, timing risk, and understanding what we value. So I’m thrilled to be speaking about the astrology of Bitcoin at the conference in Amsterdam 🪐🪙
And because connection is the whole point, I’d love to share it with you 🎟️ I have 2 spare passes to give away. To enter, comment and tag the friend you’d bring 👯♀️ I’ll pick the winner on Monday’s full moon in Ta**us 🌕 and send over the tickets.
See you in Amsterdam 🇳🇱
