😥 After careful consideration, Murieston Community Cafe at Murieston Village Hall has decided to close permanently. A combination of commercial competition, lack of customers, and imminently rising rental charges makes it financially unviable for us to continue as we are. 😥

🙏 We wish to give grateful thanks to the 15 volunteers who gave up their time to make it happen and everyone who came to make the cafe a warm and friendly place to meet. 🙏

Murieston Community Cafe is open this Saturday 11-1:30pm for soup, sandwiches, cakes and drinks. This week's soup will be lentil, and cakes will be spiced apple cake, ginger muffins and oat cookies. They are all freshly made on the premises that morning by our lovely volunteers, who will be waiting to welcome you. Hoping to see you there! We're just through the tunnel at Livingston South railway station.

Murieston Community Cafe will be closed for December as everyone is too busy preparing for Christmas. The next community cafe at Murieston Village Hall will be on 10th January 11-1:30pm.

We wish everyone who visits the cafe a very merry festive season and look forward to seeing you again in the New Year.

😍♥️ Murieston Community Cafe will be open half an hour earlier at Murieston Village Hall on Saturday (22nd) from 10:30am for cakes and drinks, and soup and sandwiches 11am-1:30pm.😍♥️

🍲 Soup will be parsnip and cakes will be flapjacks, blueberry and lemon muffins and iced coffee cake. 🧁🍰

The community cafe is open 11am-1:30pm on Saturday at Murieston Village Hall. This week we are doing butternut squash soup, various sandwiches, shortbread, chocolate brownies and iced carrot cake. Drinks as usual include coffees, teas and hot chocolate. We hope to see you all there! Remember we do allergen-free and vegan options. 😊
