Hello to my lovely loyal customers!
It is with deep regret and after a lot of thought that I’ve decided to close Gu’s Kitchen. 💔
Due to rising supply costs and other commitments it is no longer viable to provide the high standard of goods I’ve produced over the past 18 mths without raising prices to a level I don’t feel comfortable with.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has supported my little venture and wish you all the very best for the future.
We may be back in the future, but for now the mixer and the apron will be put to one side. 👋🥹

Hi my lovely customers. 👋
Due to a pending house move, and less than usual availability, we will not be taking any orders for the remainder of March. All existing orders will be fulfilled.
My apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.
The book is open for April however so if you have any upcoming celebrations get your orders in quick as we expect the month to fill up very quickly.

It’s been a real pleasure to send out these delicious treats for my wonderful customers this Christmas.
Can I take this opportunity to thanks each of you for your orders, love, support, reviews, for recommending me (truly valuable to small businesses btw!) and for being just the best customers anyone could ask for.

Only a few weeks to Christmas and only a few spaces available for 22/23 December. Please note that our cheesecakes will still be gorgeously fresh on Christmas Day if collected on these dates (only exception being the Fully Loaded due to the fruit being dipped a day before). So get your orders in quick!!

Something a little different coming out of the Kitchen from Gu today. 😊🍰👵
A half and half with one side dedicated to all things Oreo-Oreo base, Oreo and vanilla cheesecake filling and Oreo cream, finished with Oreos, while the other side oozing with chocolate orange-a buttery digestive base, chocolate orange cheesecake filling and chocolate orange cream, finished with Terry’s Chocolate Orange segments.
Yummy!! 🤤😋

We are SO close to reaching an astonishing 1000 likes and it would be a massive achievement to reach this target by our first birthday 🤞🏻🙏
So we are asking our totally awesome followers to invite their friends to also like our page and when we get to that target we will give the 1000th “like” a box of 6 cupcakes AND the person who invited them will also get a free box too!! (This will be local collection ONLY!)

And today is our first birthday!!!! 🎉🎈🎂
One whole year of learning as I go to create delicious treats for our amazing customers. Picking the photos for this post was tough as there have been so many creations to choose from! Some of my early photos aren’t so great! 😂
Throughout this past year there have been countless birthdays 🎁 anniversaries 👨‍👧baby showers 👶🏼 employee gifts 🙏 and weddings 💒👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻 that I have been truly honoured to share with you all. 🥰
I have loved listening to what my customers want!! And some requests have challenged me, and some have actually beaten me 🙄 but I have absolutely LOVED being in the kitchen bringing joy (and calories!) to you and sharing your special events with you all.
A huge thanks for your ongoing support and loyalty, for your orders, sharing my page and your love of what we try to create for you, and I cannot wait to bring more of what you want in the coming year.
