On the 18th we have back by demand THE NEWTON SUNDAY BRUNCH from 11.30 to 2p.m. See menu below.

Then on the 24th October we have CLAN PECULAIR on their last visit of the year. Great for singing our favourites, James and Blur as examples with them!

ISA is back on the bar tonight!
She has missed all the news and needs to know!
Just a couple of hours to begin with and she doesn't remember the prices so will be slower than usual.
I would say she is excited after 15 weeks on recovery.

Well, we did our own Sir Bob proud this weekend!
Dice Roll Rebels started the party going on Friday.
The Clan Peculiar stepped in on Saturday afternoon, despite having a full weekend of gigs, eager to keep the party going
And what a Newton debut for Embers Band! The perfect finish to the music side of the weekend
Today Alex Robbie hosted our quiz. A good laugh as always. And a surprise for our Geoff getting belated birthday cake. But the biggest surprise was our Joyce being told this weekend had been for the pub, the place Bob loved most. She has done so many quizzes for so many causes our locals decided it was time something went to her. We have raised £563 towards the pub maintaince so far. Including a donation from Scott Buchan and Ian Snee. Still some tickets for the Apex and Bonfest weekend tickets.
Thank you Callum Meechan, Lesley Buchan and Ethan for their help behind the bar. And lyndsey helping with the food today. Lindsey Wilson also donated confetti cake which went down well! Dee Brogan for her very generous donation.
Thank you everyone once again for your support this weekend and all throughout the year.
Bob would have loved it today. Happy 90th birthday to him, wherever he is. Hope you finally got that pint from Charlie Watts!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the bands: Dice Roll Rebels, The Clan Peculiar and Embers Band who have helped us celebrate what would have been Bob's 90th.
I am quite sure Bob would have appreciated you all.
Thank to all who have attended and supported these bands. Much appreciated.
Very much appreciated is the physical support by family and friends over this weekend.
Now, tomorrow The Quiz.
Thank you all again.x
