Gungo peas soup with four meats will also be on our buffet today❗️

We are continuing to promote jamaica Authentic Rice and peas which is the gungo rice and peas❗️

Gungo peas (pigeon peas) were brought to Jamaica during the transatlantic slave trade from Africa, Enslaved Africans brought seeds and food traditions with them across the Atlantic during the colonial slave trade.

This is jamaica traditional Authentic rice and peas ❗️

Long before red kidney beans❗️

Red kidney beans are native to the Americas and were introduced to Jamaica during the 16th century through the Spanish colonization and the early transatlantic trade networks

When we say AUTHENTIC we dont just say it, we cook it
