🍽️ HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT MENU FOR YOUR EVENT? 🤔

Choosing your catering menu isn’t just about picking your favourite dishes. The type of event, time of day, season, number of guests and budget can all make a difference.

Here are a few things to consider:

🎉 1. What type of event?
A wedding, birthday party, corporate meeting or baby shower may all call for something different. A relaxed buffet might be perfect for a party, while a sit-down meal could suit a more formal occasion.

🌸 2. What season is it?
Think fresh, lighter options for summer and comforting, hearty dishes for those colder months. Seasonal ingredients can also make a menu feel extra special.

⏰ 3. What time of day?
A breakfast meeting needs something very different from an evening celebration! Afternoon tea, light lunches, buffets and evening meals all have their place.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 4. How many guests?
The number of people you're feeding can influence everything from the style of service to the variety of dishes you choose.

💷 5. What's your budget?
A great menu doesn't have to break the bank. With the right choices, you can create delicious catering that works within your budget.

✨ Our advice? Don't try to do it all yourself!

At T&K Banqueting, we can help you put together a menu that's right for your event, guests and budget — whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a large function.

🍰 WHY NOT CELEBRATE WITH A LOVELY AFTERNOON TEA? 🍰🫖

Looking for something a little different for your next celebration? An afternoon tea could be the perfect way to make your occasion feel extra special! 💕

✨ Beautifully presented – delicate sandwiches, delicious cakes and tempting sweet treats make for a feast that's as lovely to look at as it is to eat.

🥂 Relaxed & sociable – sit back, chat, catch up and enjoy time with friends and family without the formality of a traditional meal.

🎉 Perfect for all sorts of occasions – birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, hen parties, Mother's Day, or simply an excuse to get everyone together!

☕ Something for everyone – delicious savouries, sweet treats and, of course, plenty of tea!

📸 Instagram-worthy – because let's be honest, half the fun is taking a photo before everyone dives in! 😉

At T&K Banqueting, we can provide a delicious afternoon tea for your celebration, taking care of the food so you can concentrate on enjoying the occasion.

💗 Sometimes the best celebrations are the simplest ones — good food, good company and plenty of tea!

📩 Get in touch to discuss your celebration and our afternoon tea options.

🍽️ BUFFET vs SIT-DOWN MEAL — WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOUR EVENT? 🤔

One of the biggest decisions when planning your wedding, party or special occasion is how you’re going to feed your guests!

So, buffet or sit-down meal? Let’s look at the options…

🥗 BUFFET

✔️ More relaxed and informal
✔️ Plenty of choice for your guests
✔️ Guests can choose what they like (and go back for seconds! 😉)
✔️ Great for larger events
✔️ Encourages guests to mingle

🍽️ SIT-DOWN MEAL

✔️ A more formal and traditional feel
✔️ Everyone is served at their table
✔️ Perfect for weddings and special celebrations
✔️ Creates a lovely sense of occasion
✔️ Great if you want a more structured running order

And the best part? There’s no right or wrong answer!

It all depends on your event, your guests, your style and your budget.

At T&K Banqueting, we can help you choose the catering option that works best for your occasion — from relaxed buffets to elegant sit-down meals.
