If you've ever wondered who's keeping the chefs in check behind the scenes, here's your answer.

Annie is one of our kitchen porters, and you might not see much of her when you visit but for the last 6 months, she's been a big part of what keeps the kitchen running smoothly - keeping the kitchen organised and ready for whatever service has to throw at it.

Outside of work Annie keeps herself busy with football and time in the gym, but it's her team in the kitchen that bring her back - according to Annie, getting plenty of laughs and being able to have a joke while getting the job done makes every shift a good one.

The best way to thank her for her service would be a refreshing pineapple juice to cool her down in the hot kitchen - do with that what you will! 👀🍹

✨ Meet the team: Sian ✨🍴

Anybody who has spent some time at The New Inn will be well accustomed to Sian, but let us tell you about her anyway...

Sian is one of our restaurant supervisors. She's been with us for just over 3 years so far and in that time has supported the team massively in growth and development, being a big part of the journey herself!

Sian's menu pick depends on the day, but her ideal lunch would be the chimichurri ciabatta, followed by the po***ck for dinner (or, if she's really treating herself, she'll go for the chateaubriand) - and she'll wash it down with a chardonnay, thanks!

Outside of work Sian spends most of her time with her son, Seth, playing or watching football (especially The Toon! ⚫️⚪️), but when she's here with us her favourite part of the job is helping to organise special events at The New Inn, and being part of a team that's developed so much during her time here.

Why not treat Sian to a chardonnay she can enjoy at the end of her shift? 😉
