We had so much fun at Tweseldown over the past 4 days with the final 3-phase training day today.

A massive thank you to Amy for helping me out for the first time on Sunday in such hot weather. We had a lot of fun and you were fabulous! Our delicious iced coffee was a top favourite.

It was a pleasure to be introduced to Joe from Pure Recharge and team, with his delicious dairy free ice-cream (I ate far too much). We hope to see you again soon!

We had a new record temperature in the trailer at 34.7 degrees which was a little challenging at times but…we were still able to sell cake and even collaborated with Joe to make a special brownie/ice cream dessert! 😊

Today we met Em and the lovely SuperTed and very much look forward to seeing them progressing on their eventing journey.

Finally, well done to Tweseldown for the enormous effort organising the 3 days of eventing and the training day too for riders, horses, owners and visitors. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Looking forward to displaying our newly updated menu design tomorrow with all our usual savoury and sweet treats.

Wishing you all a fun-packed Easter weekend. Some time away from baking for me… partly to ensure I had space to sample some traditional Easter eggs!

Today entailed a fabulous trip to the beach and a monumental walk around Thorny Island, with some blustery weather, sunshine and showers. So lovely to feel Spring arriving at last.🌷

Look forward to catching up with you next Thursday if you’re entered for the dressage. We’ll be stacking our cake stand with the last of the mini egg brownies. Grab one while you can!

What a lovely surprise card to receive today and such kind words.

Diana is a fortnightly visitor to the dressage competition and makes an 18 mile round trip, either by taxi or with a lift from a friend and always comes to see us before watching some beautiful horses in the warm-up. Just shows that dedication to the sport extends to the spectators as well as the riders!

We always look forward to Diana’s visit and look forward to seeing her in a couple of weeks time. Happy Easter 🐣🥰

Well…what a fabulous weekend and it was lovely to be back for the start of the eventing season.

Thank you to Lucinda Green for being such a good sport, joining me in the trailer for a photo this afternoon and for the lemon drizzle:millionaire’s shortbread swap. It was lovely to meet you.

Also a big thank you to Rosie CEO British Eventing for jumping in at a critical ‘toasting toasties’ moment on Saturday to lend a hand - it was very much appreciated.

And of course my amazing husband for a lot of behind the scenes supplier runs and being sous chef today!

As always, a final thank you to everyone that came to see us, support us and give such wonderful feedback on all our food and beverages which enables us to continue being part of such wonderful events. We look forward to seeing you all soon. x

Amber is definitely our biggest millionaires shortbread fan, so it was great to see her win the PC 80 Novice and overall winter league at Priory Equestrian Centre this afternoon….in the sunshine! 😃
