Well what a hot day in the kitchen that has been 🥵 a big thank you to my amazing best friend for stepping in and assisting me (even though it was VERY hot)

16 hour day with a kitchen temperature of almost 40 degrees 🌡️

This evening we catered for a surprise 1st wedding anniversary party for a lovely family 🤍

The menu consisted of-

• beef lasagne
• shredded chicken enchiladas
• mac n cheese
• seasoned wedges
• cheese n chive garlic bread
• chilli
• salad

All of this homemade fresh food for 60 guests and thoroughly enjoyed by all 😋

So Friday morning here in the Cosy Cookhouse Kitchen has been full of sweet treats, fresh fruit and scrummy puddings 🍮 🤤

Jam and coconut sponge 🥥🍓
Banana delight cheesecake 🍌
Apple and blueberry crumble 🍏🫐
‘Boozy’ amaretto and cherry trifle 🍒🥃

The trifle was a special request from a lovely regular customer and the jam and coconut sponge was also a request for a non low calorie version from another of my lovely regular customers 😊
