ESV Food Action Food Action is a quick-impact project that gives you the opportunity to distribute surplus food to those in need!

Volunteering with ESV also contributes to the Exeter Award, which requires 35 hours of voluntary work.

Food Action

Food Action is a quick-impact project that gives you the opportunity to distribute surplus food to those in need while cutting down food waste on campus … all in 20 minutes!

Every evening, Food Action volunteers take unsold fresh food from campus outlets to Gabriel House, a homeless shelter in town. The project works on a sign-up basis so you can volunteer as often as you would like, from every now and then to 7 times a week!

If you want to create change now, join us on our short but mindful evening walks from campus to town where you’ll get to meet other volunteers. On rainy nights we provide bus tickets!
