Easter’s on the way, which means our limited‑edition Hot Chocolate is back - piled high with cream and topped with mini eggs. If you prefer cold drinks, we’ve got a Mini Egg Milkshake too!
Available in‑store now for a limited time.

Opening Hours - Both our stores will be closed on Easter Sunday. We’ll be open as normal for the rest of the Easter Weekend, ready with all the chocolatey drinks, coffee and sweet treats.

Unfortunately Brown Bears will be closed today.
Sadly we have some electrical supply issues which need National Grid to dig up the road to rectify a cable fault which could take most of the day…

Hello everyone!

We are really excited to take over Brown Bears and get to know all of your lovely faces.

We know we have big paws to fill and we know how much you all love Brown Bears, so we want to reassure you that you will still see the same smiley staff and the same great tasting food and drink that you’ve become used to!

Of course, we will be adding some new products to the menus – including our most popular items from our existing coffee shop, Coffee Corner in Friars Walk, Newport. If you have never visited Coffee Corner before we do a great range of cakes and muffins (all freshly baked in our store kitchen) aswell as a large range of Hot & Cold drinks, so keep an eye out for these in the coming weeks.

As part of the change over we will also be bringing over the Loyalty Card scheme from Coffee Corner. Instead of collecting 10 stamps for a free drink, the new loyalty card will give you 50p off EVERY handmade drink, including coffees, hot chocolates, milkshakes and more!
You just need to scan your card at the start of each transaction at the till!

You’ll be able to use this in both the Newport and Cwmbran stores.

If you have a Brown Bears loyalty card, then to ensure nobody misses out, we will exchange it for a free coffee and give you a new Coffee Corner card.

We are looking forward to starting this new adventure, and we hope you will join us for the ride 🐻
