Our dear friends Jerica and husband Sam have just received heartbreaking news. Their beautiful 14m old son, Koa, has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. He’s beginning chemotherapy and may spend the next 18 months in hospital.💔

They’re trying their best to care for their older daughter and keep life feeling as normal as possible, all while facing every parent’s worst nightmare.🥺

Jerica, a midwife, and Sam, a fireman, have spent their careers caring for the community. Now it’s time for the community to support them.

We’re looking for a new reliable team member at our local independent coffee shop! ☕️

Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Must be able to pass a DBS check
•⁠ ⁠Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
•⁠ ⁠Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
•⁠ ⁠Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks according to established recipes and quality standards
•⁠ ⁠Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area
•⁠ ⁠Assist with basic food preparation
•⁠ ⁠Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of products
•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Skills:
•⁠ ⁠Time management: Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•⁠ ⁠Helpfulness: Willingness to assist customers with their enquiries or special requests
•⁠ ⁠Food preparation: Experience in preparing food items such as sandwiches, pastries, cakes etc is a plus

We’re busy making some changes across the store, which means play sessions are on a short break for now 🤍 Don’t worry—they’ll be back before you know it!
