A LITTLE RE-INTRODUCTION ❤️
With so many lovely new faces joining The Pantry over the past couple of weeks, I thought it was definitely time I introduced myself!
I’m Bryonie, I’m 33 and I live in Branston with my beautiful 8-year-old son, Teddy
Three years ago, I left the world of retail and jumped into hospitality, knowing absolutely NOTHING about it! Somehow, I successfully ran a coffee shop, loved every minute of it and gained so much experience along the way. I’m still in the coffee shop world as my day job, while building The Pantry alongside it.
I have my level 2/3 and a high rating in food hygiene for my Business.
I offer event catering for pretty much anything you can think of weddings, hen do’s, (divorce party’s 🤣😉) christenings, funerals, work meetings, baby showers, children’s parties… you name it, I’ll probably say yes!
I also offer room dressing and party planning, because apparently catering wasn’t enough for me!
Then there are the boxes. Charcuterie, afternoon teas, brunch boxes and lots more as well as getting out and about with market stalls and events.
And soon, I’ll be adding something I’m VERY excited about…. The Pantry Hatch!
A little place where you’ll be able to pre-order homemade and seasonal goodies such as granola, homemade jams, sweet treats, freshly baked bread and whatever else I decide to make! Everything homemade, seasonal and made with lots of love. We are excited for this one!
But behind all of this is my biggest little supporter , My little Teddy. He really is my rock and, despite being only 8, he loves getting involved and helping me wherever he can. One of my favourite things is seeing his proud little face when he sees something I’ve made or when he tells people about The Pantry.
He sees the hard work that goes into it all, but he also gets to see the other side of it the lifestyle and opportunities that this hard work gives us. The days out, the experiences, the little treats and the freedom that comes from building something of my own. And honestly, that’s one of the biggest reasons I keep pushing myself. I want Teddy to grow up seeing that if you work hard, believe in yourself and have a bit of courage to take a chance, you really can build something you’re proud of.
And then there’s the small matter of how on earth I actually fit it all in! I’m a mum first, so alongside running The Pantry and working my day job, there’s school runs, homework, football, sports clubs, baking clubs and whatever else Teddy decides we’re doing that week!
Sometimes I genuinely have no idea how I manage it all. 😂 There’s a reason I’m addicted to coffee, after all… I clearly need it! ☕️
Some people might say I take on far too much… (especially my dad 🥹) They’re probably right.
But that’s exactly what makes it exciting. I love creating, I love food, I love meeting people and I love seeing an idea in my head turn into something real.
And who knows where it might all lead…
Hopefully one day The Pantry will have its very own little coffee van and then, somewhere further down the line, my ultimate dream…
