If you know me, then you know I love a little change here and there 😄 and as a beautiful staff member said the other day 'It wouldn't be the Horsebox if something didn't change each week' and that's why you will find we dont have a set sweet treat and savoury menu. Yes, we always do foccacias, bagels, brownies, etc, but the flavours continually change

I have always loved dressing the horsebox to the seasons, and it actually makes me rather twitchy if I don't because I see everything visually. So, of course, the bricks and mortar have to have the same treatment

Wow, the weekend was a beautiful blur because we were so busy. Thank you ☕️✨️

We were running around amongst what we thought looked like chaos - a beautiful chaos - and receiving 2 messages from guests on our busiest days completely overwhelmed us, and this is why we do what we do

Knowing that you choose our coffee shop to slow down and make memories with the people that matter most is the ultimate win, especially when you still find peace on our crazy days

It's official! Today was the first proper day to finally layer up and escape the chill. And walking into the shop from the cold on my day off was actually quite magical. The smell of freshly brewed coffee radiated through the warm lit shop with guests chattering, and the sound of soft music fading into the background was pure joy. I think this may have just been my favourite day so far ☕️🍂

This is because we have amazing bakers, an incredible team, and a clear vision. Yes, things dont always work, we get things wrong, but we know what we want to create 🐴☕️ and our guests are at the ♥️ of everything we do 🫶

A moment of calm in a hectic world ☕️😌

When thinking about the type of coffee shop we wanted to build, it was important that we built somewhere that brings a little peace to our lives

We built a coffee shop where the exterior and interior colours are calming, the music is soft whatever the time of day, keeping it individual and memorable. A coffee shop where we and our guests look forward to visiting each day

I've been asked lots recently. "Do you think you will expand?"

And sometimes, when I look at other independent coffee businesses expanding and getting bigger, obviously, I think maybe this is what we should be doing.

BUT maybe our jewel is also being small, and by growing more, would we still be building the same community?

Our guests have truly become family. We know your names and your stories, and then you blow us away with your kindness, from paintings to flowers to preserves and many more gifts

Small, independent, and serving our community is our jewel

Back in the horsebox, where it all started 🐴✨️

Saturday brought back so many memories as we were right back in Royston Priory Memorial Gardens for Garla in the Park, and what a beautiful day it was. Full of life, laughter, amazing pop-ups and lots, and lots of chats ☕️

It is amazing to think at how far we have come from those early days, where I was praying someone would approach and try our coffee. Going back to your roots reminds us of why we started, and we never take for granted the amazing support we have received along the way

Thank you to Creative Royston for all your hard work in creating such a wonderful event and thank you to everyone who came out to support another one of Royston's superb community events

We did get asked lots if the horsebox still goes out and the answer is yes. You can catch on Tuesdays at Hyde Hall Farm in Buckland and Thursdays at Low Farm in Bassingbourn. We also do plenty of events, so please do get in touch, especially if you're local 😀
