Iโm just an ordinary girl (woman) chasing her dreams. I wanted to set up a coffee shop business 16 years ago (reallyโฆreally, really. I have proof). Sometimes itโs down to divine timing (perhaps I was supposed to do it in my 40s), sometimes itโs down to fearโฆmore often that not itโs being afraid to take the leap. Mine was a bit of both. I wanted a house and stability first and that took way longer than โplannedโ. Hereโs 14 things I learned in my 40s about setting up a business on my own, totally solo.
