Hi All,

Just back from a long drive home south of France via an overnight stop off in Paris, overall 7th place which was a little disappointing as we felt the cook overall was very good....obviously the judges did not agree!!

On a plus note however we placed 2nd in ribs just missing out on a perfect 180 score.

Next stop grillstock in Bristol, looking forward to this one as we are looking to have a more relaxing cook and a bit more fun with our turn ins.

This weekend sees us heading to a kcbs competition - cook in camargue, south of France.
Looking to stop just south of Paris overnight then head down to the sunshine for midday Friday.

I can foresee some flip flop pictures being posted, But hopefully no speedos!!!

Tony stone this weekend in holland, due to a number of issues Tony was flying solo for the second time in McSlims history and did the team proud once again.

4th in ribs, 5th in brisket and overall GC!!!!

Congratulations to LETZQ on RGC and to all others who had their name called.

Next stop the kitchen Takeover in Royal Arsenal on the 17th.

Qfest in Devon this weekend, challenging cook with the weather however an enjoyable weekend nevertheless.

Well done to Ben and Dan for their first comp, great to see KCBS back in the U.K.

We came 3rd overall in the KCBS competition with a 3rd in both pork and brisket.

We also came 3rd in seafood with Liam's deconstructed fish pie, well done mate.

Well done to both bunch of swines for GC and all smoke no knickers for RGC.

Thanks to Mark Burley for the great pork and brisket and to Gareth Morgan for the ultimate drum smoker, a few more tweaks to our cooking and our chicken will be getting walks also.

A few weeks off now to practice and improve 🙏

This weekend was spent in Belgium at the 1st eastern bbq contest, for us it was a steady cook which resulted in placing as reserve grand champion behind by bunch of swines.

Well done to Ed and Emma for taking grand champion.

First time we have had a big cheque so it had to make the picture!!
