Fuel for a long day of rehearsals 🎻

We were delighted to cater for an orchestra at Wiltshire Music Centre this week. Long rehearsal days call for food that keeps energy steady, so we built a hot buffet around quality proteins and seasonal vegetables, lighter on the carbs to avoid that mid-afternoon slump.

The result was a menu that was generous, colourful and full of flavour, and one that kept everyone performing at their best until the final note.

Whether it’s a conference, a training day or a team away day, we design menus around how your people need to feel, not just what they’ll eat.

A marquee is a field with a roof.
No kitchen. No walls. No back of house to hide in.

Everything that leaves that pass has to be carried, timed and plated by people who’ve done it enough times to stay quiet while they do it.

That’s the bit you won’t see on the day. And that’s the whole point.

Your guests should notice the food and the flow. Not the effort behind it.

Four more weddings and That’s a wrap on the summer season 😳😊

Behind every service that looked effortless was a team who arrived early, stayed late, and never once let the standard slip.

Trays polished at 8am. Ch*****ne & Canapés out on the dot. Marquee turned around in the rain or blistering heat without a word of complaint.

To every Chef, server and bartender who worked with us this season — thank you. You are the reason our clients remember the day the way they do.

So lucky on the weather with this one. It was a joy working with the bride & groom, from the tasting day all the way up to the main event.

Thanks to Becca Wedding and Event Planner for all her hard work, also Milena & team for making service seamless 😍

Great to sneak peak of some of the photography of Bre & Hallam’s wedding- that was the hottest day this year and the bride and groom somehow still managed to look absolutely gorgeous.

We really enjoyed doing the rehearsal dinner, drinks\canapé reception and wedding breakfast for this one.

India isn’t one cuisine — it’s dozens. And on 18 September, we’re cooking our way across the map. 🗺️

🥟 The street food: courgette, carrot & aubergine pakora with spiced mango chutney, and pani puri with tamarind, ginger & jaggery water 🍛 The north: chole bhature with mango lassi, and rich Delhi butter chicken 🦐 The coast: Kerala seafood malabar biryani, fragrant with coconut and curry leaf 🫓 The desert: a Rajasthani thali — dal, baati, sabzi, roti, rice and chutneys 🥭 The finish: spiced Kerala coconut pudding and mango sorbet.

Every dish comes with the story of where it’s from — told by award winning Luxeco Holidays founder Alicia Sharpe, who’s been there and can take you too.

Friday 18 September, Bradford on Avon. £70pp. Link https://www.firstpresshospitality.com/supperclub to book before seats go. ✨
